Nature Hunt Merchandise
Using marketing merchandise has always been a good way of promoting a business/App. One of the best things about marketing merchandise is that it’s far less expensive than some other promotional methods. In the case of an event for NatureHunt, merchanise will allow me to generate brand exposure as it will engage with consumers, especially children of a young age whom my app is aimed towards and spread the word. Since my app is a treasure hunt for children, which includes collecting cards and badges I liked the idea of creating badges, t-shirts and caps for the children to wear when playing the game and allow them to feel like a true Nature Hunter!
Merchandising
When it comes to merchandising strategies, a “one size fits all” approach won’t suffice. Depending on the overarching objective for the retailer, brand, and category, the merchandising strategies should vary by category or even by segment to target a specific goal, such as developing customer loyalty, increasing sales, driving footfall/traffic, raising awareness of your brand, and so on.
The Importance of Merchandising
Variety: Merchandising can show customers the variety you have within your store so they have a good selection of products to choose from.
Product placement: With a great merchandising strategy you can place addition products within your customer’s reach, both on and off line, for them to buy.
Promoting: Placing your onsale products in a specific area on your website, or in store, means that people will be more willing to browse products around it.
Benefits of Merchandising
Since merchandising is all about selling, the ultimate benefit of effective merchandising is higher sales and better profit. Stores that manage to create a seamless shopping experience and effectively guide consumers to purchase completion, enjoy an array of benefits including:
Higher profits
More satisfied shoppers
More engaged buyers (longer on-site time)
Faster inventory turnover
Increased brand loyalty
Increased brand recognition
Promotional website
Website promotion is an extremely popular concept in today’s business environment. Having a professional website that represents my brand is the best way to start in today’s marketplace. Naturehuntapp.co.uk is the base of my brand. Many people will come to this page to find out more infromation on the application and it gives them a sense of what it is about. At the bottom of the website users have the opportunity to ask any questions or queries they might have which in turn I can reply to. The website also offers a link to social media accounts to allow people to see more of the brand and game.
Create a Promotional website
Website promotion is a collection of marketing tactics, actions, and techniques that drive traffic (visitors) to your website. Whether you have a freelance business, blog, or ecommerce business...whatever website you have your home business, you need to do web promotion to let people know about it.
Websites offer many benefits for the home business owner. For some online entrepreneurs, they are storefronts selling goods. Others earn income through advertising, sponsorships and affiliate marketing, such as on blogs. Other types of websites are marketing tools in and of themselves, providing information about the business and how to best get in touch for services in an online brochure. While all these website options work, they only fulfill their purpose if people visit them.
Social media campaign
Social media provides a platform for you to communicate with consumers directly, creating strong connections for your brand. The main social media channels NatureHunt will be targetting are Instagram and Twitter, with the possibility of expanding to other social channels if necessary. When using these 2 Platforms I will ensure my brand and voice are consistant on both with the same content and posts to keep consumers engaged and updated.
Instagram is a powerful marketing tool for businesses looking to expand their presence and the visibility of their products. It is a great way to show potential customers that you are more than just a faceless corporation. This can be done through many of the app's features, but you can really make an impression with live posts and stories. Instagram allows me to effectively engage with customers. it is a platform for users to like, comment on and share their favorite posts, in turn giving my brand more visibilty.
Instagram has 1 billion monthly active users and more than 500 million of them use the platform everyday.
Twitter is a very popular social media app for all ages. It can be used as a powerful tool for companies and brands to stay connected with their customers. It will allow me to gain wider feedback from users on features and improvements.
Twitter is one of the world’s most popular social media platforms with over 335 million users
This platform allows direct two-way communication with customers. It would be a good place to ask questions if issues occured. Using Twitter’s search and hashtag functionality, it’s simple to join conversations, contribute value, and be visible.
The most successful startups use “Growth hacking” techniques to guarantee a quick penetration in the market, but growth hacking can be just as useful to companies of any size and experience. 10 marketing strategies for your product launch.
What to include in a Launch Strategy
Increase your organic visibility
Having a well positioned website on search engines gives you a “base” of traffic to communicate your new products towards, which makes things much easier than having to start from square one.
For your search engine optimization to work, you need to give users information that will truly be useful to them. Focus especially on optimizing three areas:
Keywords. Don’t think about what you would call or how you would describe your product, but rather how a new user would search for it.
Meta Descriptions. Users see meta descriptions as the summary of your website on search engines, so it would be short and attractive. But beware! Google sometimes ignores this description and shows the first lines of text on your page, so make sure they are up to scratch too.
Create shareable content
Consistently creating content is one of the most reliable digital marketing strategies, especially in the medium to long run.
Invest time in creating a high quality blog that talks about your business or related topics that consumers will be interested in reading. The goal is to get the users themselves to share your content, bringing traffic to your website on a regular basis.
Don’t forget about email marketing
Email is a digital marketing strategy that may seem out of fashion, but that continues to be as effective as ever. Be sure to make the most of it!
In order to effectively implement an email marketing strategy, the first step is to create a database with your clients. The more information you have on each one of them, the better. Think about things such as age, residence, children and, of course, previous purchases or products they have shown interest in.

Benefits of using augmented reality in education and training
Engaging learning experience
Augmented reality can help make classes more interactive and allow learners to focus more on practice instead of just theory. As AR adds virtual objects to the real world, it lets students train skills using physical devices. So instead of just reading books or listening to lectures, students and trainees can actually start practicing with the help of headsets and goggles. This increases engagement and improves the learning experience.
Improved and increased memory
Students can access educative and learning AR models through scanning. These models are very educative. They cover wider range of topics cutting across many subjects. Students access educative websites from AR app designed by AR app development companies. These many learning experience creates a robust learning cycle for students.
Interactive lessons
The use of AR in education provides interactive lessons to students. Students have full access to educative and interactive models on their devices. On the long run, this propels clear and better understanding of educational concepts. This is one of the best ways to engage students. This aids learning and increased educative activities among students. Thus, help them reinforce the concepts they have seen in class during lectures.
Increased sensory development
The use of augmented reality in education will enhance the mental and physical dexterity of students. AR gives students the privilege to see, observe, and feel at the same time while learning. Imagine the impacts of contents that interact with student’s sights and feelings. Rather than become mere observers, these contents make students part of it. Thus give them interactive privileges to help enhance their mental and physical dexterity. On the long run, this results in increased sensory development. Thus, takes the educational learning process to a whole new level.
Augmented reality for classroom education
Using augmented reality in the classroom can turn an ordinary class into an engaging experience. AR technology provides virtual examples and adds gaming elements to support textbook materials. As a result, classes become more interactive. AR helps students better remember the information they’ve just learned. Let's review a few examples of augmented reality in classroom education.
Dinosaur 4D+
Dinosaur 4D+ is an AR app and a set of flashcards. Users can scan flashcards to see 3D dinosaurs. With Dinosaur 4D+, students can see dinosaurs in action, rotate them, and zoom in and out. The app also gives some information about each dinosaur.
Elements 4D
Elements 4D uses AR to make chemistry more fun and engaging. First, users need to make paper cubes from special element blocks. Then, they just need to place the cubes in front of their device’s camera to see representations of chemical elements, their names, and their atomic weights. To explore elements, students can bring together two cubes to find out if elements react and to see the chemical reaction.
VR and AR technology has nearly an unlimited amount of practical applications. We have used it to entertain in the past, but as technology gets better we have seen a steady increase in developing it to mimic real-world environments and simulations.
David Reddick, Chief Product Officer at VR Vision
AR - Where to start?
Augmented reality is an experience I want to include in my app. After doing research on Pokemon GO, I like the the idea of including AR. This will enable me to have a more fun and interactive app for young children.
Augmented reality has significantly transformed the way we use our smartphones in the current era. With the enhanced interactivity becoming the biggest priority; AR has reinvented the way the users interact and receive information. Whether it is a mobile application or a high-end game, you can always expect enhanced user experience by invoking augmented reality.
Tips For Effective Logo Design
01. Know The Brand
The logo must reach a particular set of people, which is the target market and target customers. Know the personality of the brand also. What is the way it wants to project itself amid its market and customers. All such details must be ready beforehand.
02. Reflects Nature Of Your Business
Make it sure that your logo is fully capable of representing your business. The colors and images used in your logo should align with the business you run and the products or services you deliver. It is when a logo aligns with your business that it will create a brand identity for your company in the competitive market.
03. Impression Is Crucial
Your logo design should make a lasting impression on the market and the customers. Just a glance at your logo is enough to mesmerize the people. The logo functions for a company by enticing the customers again and again once they have a good impression of the design.
04. Use Colors In A Planned Way
Colors play a crucial role in determining a brand’s message. For example, if you use red as a main color in your logo, it will send the message of the brand being aggressive, passionate, and energetic. This means that your brand intends to target young customers. If blue is the chief color, it will evoke the feelings of intelligence and togetherness. This is the reason that most of social channels such as Facebook has logos in blue. If you want to create a social media page, think of having blue as its main color in its design.
05. Pick Fonts Carefully
Many designers just do not pay attention to selection of typefaces and chose them randomly. The fact is that typefaces speak about personality of a brand. For example, a typeface used for a toy company’s logo will most likely be a handwritten typeface. This is because the children are the target customers and you want to project your brand as child-friendly business. Also, avoid using gimmicky fonts. If possible, use your own unique fonts that you should be creating specially for your logo. You can also think of using very high quality fonts that are now available free on the web. Logos such as that of Coca-Cola are recognized for their custom fonts. By using right colors you will create logo and brand identity both.
