Let me explain . . .

1. My phone : I sadly do spend way too much time on this thing but with how much we work I don't have much time to stay in touch with friends and family other than trough texts or voice messages and calls

2. My journal : idol life is hectic and overwhelming so when there is too much going on in my brain I tend to turn to my journal to let it all out and express my feelings in a healthy way

3. My headphones : designed by me, created by Bose they capture my energy & vibe perfectly and the quality is amazing

4. My powerbank : being on my phone so much I have to recharge it atleast once a day (i scripted it never overheats tho)

5. My pencil case : for journaling or doodling or any other reason you could possibly need pens

6. My emergency kit : bandages, hair ties, pads, nail glue, tampons, nail polish remover, anything you could ever need

7. My digicam : i love documenting my life and I regularly post vlogs on youtube so it's good to have on hand

8. My sunglasses : funky sunnies are my guilty pleasure and u never know when you may need them for shade or style

9. My mirror : self-explanatory I think

10. My wallet : i love buying little treats for me or my girls so this is a must have for any situation

11. My airpods : incase I'm not feeling the headphones

12. My fan : my body naturally runs hot so this is a necessity, especially when it gets warmer in korea

13. My hair clip : i have a whole collection of fun hair clips that I love to rotate trough, each and every one unique

flower: moonflower

i scripted this flower to be native flower to the southern isles, my mother’s home country. although i was raised in ravka there were a lot of traditions and customs my mother raised me around that are from the southern isles. i would not see my first moonflower till i moved to the palace in os alta and it would become a little reminder of my mother who i missed so dearly at the time. it also became a reminder of how much of the world i had yet to see. the flowers symbolized to me not only a part of my heritage, but the adventures i dreamed of having.

weather: warm summer nights

spring and summer are my favorite seasons. i love when the frosty weather begins to warm and you can spend days and nights out by the sea without needing heavy cloaks. and of course if the moons out I’m likely up so the best time to enjoy the warmth is at night.

color: silver

guilty of not really having a favorite color in this dr so i chose silver for its resemblance to the moons light, therefore, the light that emanates from my powers.

food: vanilla and lavender cake

beverage: hot chocolate

object: my diary

as the great oscar wilde wrote, for the iconic gwendolyn fairfax, “i never travel without my diary. one should always have something sensational to read in the train”. truly a sentiment for my drself as i am never without my diary if i can help it and more often than not I’m being very dramatic in my prose (see my diary entry and unsent letter posts). really i grew up an only child and not very accepted by the people my age in my social sphere so i really always turned to writing in my diary and putting my emotions down there rather than expressing them outwardly to avoid burdening anybody with them. i also use my diary to sketch and write poetry.

place: the ocean

cheatingly chose the ocean or i guess rather on nikolai’s ship, the volkvolny, rather than one place. i love all the places i’ll get to visit in this dr and while my home and country will always be ravka, there is no place i have felt most myself then when sailing the ocean and going on adventures.

animal: sea serpent

so as grishaverse lore entails morozova created three amplifiers: the stag, the sea serpent, and the firebird. i scripted that alina and i sort of have to share the amplifiers to be able to successfully wield them against the darkling. so the stag is always meant to be her amplifier, while mine is the sea serpent, and then the firebird is the amplifier we must take together. therefore, i have found that my connection to the ocean is something that is not only tied to my moon powers, but to the connection i have with the sea serpent. i always dreamt of the sea serpent, either that i was the serpent or that i was watching it move underwater.

itinerary for @/Elysian-Fawn's Shifting Summer Expedition

What's on Lys and Finnick's itinerary on a summer day on District 4? Post-Hunger Games dr

The basics for when were not going to visit anyone and they're not visiting either

8-9:00 am - we usually wake up around that time, usually breakfast consists of eggs from Mags’ flock of chickens (she has this sort of farm, sort of) and baked goods from the bakery or fruit from the small market downtown

9:30 am - We go to the beach, either Finnick or I try to catch something to eat, if we don't catch anything

11:00 am - now that we have zero worries about what we're eating later, we either chill for some hours or I bake something! What I normally bake in the summer is either a Strawberry Shortcake, lemon sorbet or lemon loaf

3:00 pm- we visit Mags around this time because we know this is the moment she doesn't do much, probably snacking lol. We normally help her with things around her house or just give her company for a while

4:00-4:30 pm - we take Ares (our golden retriever) and Argo (our German sheperd) for a walk, or just hang around/play with them

5:00-6:00 pm - cooking and then eating, not much to it, we put on music and have fun

After: after dinner it all depends on the situation; we might stay there talking, we might fall asleep early, we might go watch the stars or we might go attend an event downtown (though its rare, very rare). Another option, though it's not common, is to go to the beach again

We're completely analog most of the time given that with the goverment reconsturction, they have had to remove technology from before –and even if they hadn't, stuff's still damaged–, so we're really over here sending letters to friends in other Districts, everybody visiting each other from time to time and just having a slow life 🩵

Note: also let's forget that I was also meant to do this yesterday and am depriving myself of sleep because of it, anyways it's yesterday somewhere in the world, right? 😛

6:50-7:00 am — wake up

love an early morning! waking up with the sun already peeking through the horizon, making tea and having a little morning stretch out on the patio with the sound of waves crashing in the background

7:00-7:30 am — breakfast

i take a short walk to the nearby bakery for a fresh loaf of bread with my mug of tea still in hand. stop to say hi to the neighborhood cats and my neighbor Martha who feeds them. then back at home i prep breakfast: warm bread with butter and a bowl of yogurt topped with freshly cut figs and drizzled with honey.

7:30-10:00 am — morning swim

head down to the beach for a morning swim, enjoy the sun, read or journal for a bit

10:00-11:30 am — get dressed

have a quick shower and spend way too long trying to find what to wear. ritualistically choose the right fragrance for the day and apply makeup as my hair air dries

11:30 am-3:30 pm — shopping then lunch my mom

meet my mom for a trip to the shops and a little catch up. we go to my dad’s restaurant for lunch. have a drink and gossip.

3:30-5:00 pm — get ready for the night

put some records on, do my hair properly, redo my makeup for dinner + partying later, luckily the outfit has already been decided

5:00-7:00 pm — go to the six house

over at the six house i’ll hang out with them till we have to leave to get dinner either watching tv with the boys or helping karen with her hair or outfit

7:00-9:30 pm — celebratory dinner

we have dinner and we’re celebrating finishing the aurora album!

9:30 pm-2:00 am — partying

party, hear live music, go to bar, go to club, go somewhere else where there’s live music, go to other bar, to another club, to someone’s house party

2:00-2:30 am — get to sleep

my dr is set in the tokyo drift movie, so canonically in 2014! i grew up in japan, despite not being japanese - my parents met there while travelling & decided to move to tokyo when i was little. with that being said, i went to school with twinkie & we became inseparable growing up .. best hg & hb duo award goes to us fs. before i was properly racing, i spent most of my time at a small garage that specialised in imports & drift builds. i wasn't a mechanic by any means, i painted custom liveries, touched up body kits & designed graphics for customers who wanted something diff and cool. it wasn't glamorous work, but i loved it. i got to spend all day around cars, listen to everyone argue over engine swaps & pick up way more than i expected. being there meant i slowly became familiar with everyone in the scene. later, on my 18th birthday twinkie introduced me to the drifting / racing world - which naturally i was a biiig fan of.

from there, drifting quickly became more than just a hobby. almost every weekend i'd tag along with him to meets, quietly earning respect from the regulars. i wasn't trying to prove anything — i genuinely loved the sport, the cars & the community. eventually i started driving myself, and while i definitely wasn't on dk's level, i could hold my own. when sean boswell transferred to our school, twinkie was the first to notice him, immediately taking him under his wing the same way he'd done for me years earlier. fast forward [ insert whole ass movie plot, go watch it if u haven’t it’s genuinely a 10/10 movie ] i eventually i started entering races myself. i never made a huge deal out of it — i'd race, go home, then show up to work the next morning like nothing happened. somewhere along the way, people stopped acting surprised when i won. i wasn't trying to be the fastest girl in tokyo. i was just trying to get better every time i got behind the wheel. but after enough races, enough late nights & enough wins, people started putting that title on me anyway. i never really argue with it ( even tho deep down ik i’m having my y/n moment lmfao ) twinkie on the other hand, absolutely loves reminding everyone ..
