Hello friends,

It’s with a humble heart that I’m asking for your help. Like many people in the world right now, I’m out of work because of this pandemic. The restaurant franchise I worked for is amazing, and they’re guaranteeing spots for us when we’re able to return, but for now, we’re all furloughed. I applied for unemployment and I’ve been receiving $ from that each week, but it’s simply not enough. In Oklahoma, unemployment benefits cap out at $520/week as the most you can receive. As a server/bartender, we’re used to making that much money usually within 2-3 nights, but unfortunately the state has decided I’m only eligible for less than half of that per week, meaning I can’t pay all of my bills and still have money left for food, fuel for my car, or prescriptions. I have chronic asthma that I take multiple (expensive) medications for and allergy medications as well. I had to pay for rent and my health insurance at the first of this month which totaled over $700 and after that alone, I’m already in debt. I still have multiple other bills to pay before the end of this month, not to mention all the medical debt I’ve accrued over the years I’m still paying on. I’m asking you all to please keep me in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and if you’re able to help donate anything at all, I’d be forever grateful for your generosity!
