It is my sincerest pleasure to say; HAPPY FIRST OF DECEMBER. It seems like just yesterday it was June and summer was beginning. Now? The year is coming to a close. December is the most bittersweet of months; While the joy of new opportunities and a whole new YEAR are bustling, there is the sadness of things lost and having to say goodbye. Goodbyes are hard but sometimes, new hellos are even harder. Whatever is plaguing you in this time, just know that holding your head high and taking even the tiniest steps forward is something to be proud of. One more breath, one more day, one more week, one more month, one more year. Baby steps are key. Now, treat yourself to some hot cocoa, read that book you’ve been dying to start, use that nice skin care mask. Reunion after (physical) trauma prompts

tws apply: grief/fear for someone’s life, mention of injuries, unconsciousness, hospitals, comas, mention of involuntary drugging. that’s the general vibe.

[ GATHER ] for sender to gather receiver’s (unconscious) body into their arms, in the style of no no no not them.

[ STARING ] for sender to find receiver sitting alone staring at a wall, covered in blood, and to touch their arm.

[ WAITING ] for sender to be waiting at receiver’s hospital bedside when receiver finally comes out of a coma, or wakes from surgery.

[ STEADY ] for sender to catch or steady receiver when receiver tries to stand up too early or to push their body past what it’s ready for

[ TEARS ]  for receiver to find tears on sender’s face, when they’re finally reunited (either immediately after the trauma, or waking up in a hospital), because sender thought receiver was dead or dying

[ GRIEF ]  for receiver to wake up just as sender is saying goodbye, because the doctors told them to. feel free to specify what they might be saying. do not judge me, this is going in the meme

[ LETTER ] for sender to find a last letter, video, text, etc that receiver made for them, thinking they wouldn’t make it out of the situation alive. Obviously receiver does make it out alive, but the letter/video still exists (and receiver will detail what’s in it).

[ FIGHT ] for receiving muse to not recognize sender or medical staff trying to help them, due to being drugged or otherwise disoriented – so they fight.

Soulmate & Significant Connection AUs

Consider this a sort of ‘soulmate au’ promptlist except it’s for significant connections, either good or bad. Often it’s soulmates, but it can also be like, your wife’s murderer, your found family, etc (so there’s some ambiguity). Or just use it as a soulmate au list - whatever floats your boat!

Send a prompt and I’ll write a starter where…

[First Words] - the first thing our muses say to each other is tattooed somewhere on their bodies.

[Injuries] - whenever one muse is injured, the other becomes injured in the same place, and vice versa. Good for muses who get stabbed, etc. (Bonus: either muse can treat the injuries, so if one can get to a hospital they can get the other urgent medical care.)

[Through their eyes] - for 10 minutes every six months (or a year, etc) our muses get to see through each other’s eyes. It happens at random, not on a schedule.

[Birthmarks] - our muses share the same birthmark, in the same place, in the same shape/size. Particularly good for two celebrity muses where the public notice their birthmarks before they do.

[Clock] - each muse has a countdown on the inside of their wrist until they meet each other (or until they die, or until they see them for the very first/last time)

[Names] - our muses are born just Knowing each other’s first name. There are probably a lot of Johns/Janes/Jordans out there, but every time they run into someone with The Name…

[Dreams] - our muses occasionally share dreams. It happens randomly, only once every couple of months (or years).

[Love] - whenever muse A feels loved, muse B can ‘sense’ it, like a distant thrumming heartbeat, and vice versa. Good for muses who did not grow up in happy homes.

[Adrenaline] - whenever one muse is in danger, the other can feel their adrenaline. Unhelpful for sitting exams. Good for muses who live dangerous lives.

[Scars] - shared scars. If one muse is scarred, so is the other, in the same place in the same way.

[Reincarnation] - they only have fleeting memories of their past lives, or maybe they remember them in full, but whatever the case: it’s been [Muse]. It’s always been [Muse]. (Maybe one muse doesn’t remember…?)
