Hi Tumblr! 

For those of you who are unaware, there is an organization called Helping Honduras Kids (HHK) that runs an orphanage and a jungle school to give some children in Honduras a better chance at life through an education and personal care. 

The jungle school started with around 20 kids, but now has grown to 150, and is still getting larger! Which is great! Unfortunately, transportation is limited. Many children have to walk miles to school and then miles back home. 

HHK is trying to buy a school bus! 

Even if you only have $0.20 to give, every cent counts.  Please please consider donating to help give these children the best chance at an education and future!

Food doesn’t taste better or worse when documented by Instagram. Laughter is as genuine over Skype as it would be sharing a sofa. Pay attention. Take in nature, hold someone’s hand, read a book. But don’t ever apologize for snapping a photo of a sunrise after a hike, or blogging about the excitement of having a crush, or updating your goodreads account. All of these things are good and should be celebrated. Smile at strangers on the sidewalk and like your friends’ selfies. It’s all good for the human spirit.
