"What even is the guys name?" Bellamy asked, not knowing if they weren’t supposed to sound creepy asking around for a description of a guy over an actual name. It was a lot easier to pick somebody out that way. It was possible, but dangerous, especially for somebody without supernatural healing powers.

    "Nathan Kendrick. Brown hair, blue eyes. Should be easy to find.   He's younger than me from what I found, so I can best him in speed      and strength. All we have to do is find him." Lexi spoke calmly,       under her voice, hoping that the vampire wouldn't be listening     or this could make it a bit harder. Though if someone bolted out,             that would be a sign. "Be careful. And you'll be fine."

     "I only read it because it seemed nice. I burnt the      books as soon as I turned, thank you. I even threw      tomatoes at the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part two,      thank you.” She rolled her eyes for what felt like the      millionth time. “I can get rid of you, Lex. I’ll move      somewhere far away, like Mexico, or Australia.”

         "Your urge to say thank you sarcastically twice is          a bit much, don't you think?" Lexi spoke with a tilt          of her head as the blonde rolled her eyes. "I have          friends in many places, and I don't think you know                how easily I could follow you anywhere."

Annette had never been one to feed from humans, ever since she had murdered innocent people when she first turned, she refused to ever hurt another innocent human and so she had spilled out her coffee and replaced it with blood. The cup covered what was inside and she could read her book in the booth while soothing her blood craving.

It was funny  how people seemed  to know her.  Called her the  Vampire Vigilante.  It made  her  feel  like Blade,  which was kind  of  cool.  If she  were being  honest,  and she always was Sliding into the diner for Irish Nacho's and a coke, she grinned and flirted naturally with the waiter just to have a little fun, and get  an actual  seat when everywhere  was pretty  full.  Except for  one  booth.  With  one  girl.  "Hmm."   Taking  her  number, she slid in across from her and smiled. "Hope you don't mind." Naturally, she could smell the blood, but that was fine. Though it did clue her in that this person was one to watch.  "Nowhere                                      else to sit.."

     “I’m not—” He didn’t even argue, knowing that it’d       get him absolutely nowhere with her. He smiled at        her when they pulled away. “So what have I done       this time? My humanity is on, I haven’t tried to kill       Damon in a few days, my hair looks great. I’d say       there’s nothing for you to fix here, not that you’re       not welcome anyways.” He was just happy that       she was there, even if it couldn’t be for forever.

         Her  brows  rose  as  he seemed  to want  to  fight  what  she  said,          but  when  he  didn't,   she  chuckled.   He  knew  better.   And  that          only  made  her smile  before acting  defensive, playing  her  part.          "So  what?  A  girl  can't want  to see  her  best  friend  without  an          ultimatum?  How dumb  is that?  You, Stefan  Salvatore,  are lame.          And bad at judging people and their motivation.  Geesh.  You make          me sound horrible." Lexi's eyes sparkled playfully as she watched          him.  "But eh your hair could use more gel,"  she said sarcastically.          "And I  am welcome  always.  Thank  you very  much.  I don't need                                           your permission. Mhmm."

Bellamy sighed, following after Lexi into the bar, sticking the stake into her boot, so it wouldn’t be seen. Walking along with her, still shocked that she was working with a vampire, but, she guessed the more she knew.

                                       "You're telling me."

The blonde chuckled and looked around as she entered, not too quickly,  so that she wouldn't draw too much attention, then heading over to the       bar to grab a drink and order one for Bell as they tried to seem         undercover and kept their eyes on things. "So far I don't see             him, but he may come. Keep your eyes out, ask around.                                             I'll do the same."

"Okay, well my first issue is the fact that you   actually read Twilight in the first place, let      alone know what the Volturi are. My      second issue is the fact you don’t       seem to give up, do if you don’t                                      leave, I will.”

        "Coming from the  poster child of  I taught Damon  about it,         you shouldn't really  be talking about  it. I just  like keeping         up with the times. And laughing over versions of vampires         that get it all wrong." She  chuckled. "And I will follow you.            I'm older, faster stronger. Good luck getting rid of me."

         For a moment Elena turned silent, pondering about what Lexi meant by it.             Maybe she was right. Maybe, just maybe Elena was afraid of not being able             to bring him back from the edge, to be the final push that drove him over it             instead. A fear that had been taking root inside of her for far too long. It was             feeding on the insecurities in her mind. But Lexi believed she would be good                                                                                               enough, so why couldn’t she? 

          “I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like –– pulling him back in so many times..”

        Dark lips pursed in thought  as her eyes went up  and to the right,  then left         as she recounted all the times she had brought Stefan back from the edge                        without any help. Just herself, and then she shrugged.

                  "It's not  who he  is. And  I'd rather  people be  who they  are and you                   know, not go all vampzilla on the cities of Tokyo, plus he can be fun                   when he wants to be. I still remember when he jumped naked in the                                                                  Trevi."

The hunter grinned, following the vampire out. She didn’t have the same attitude towards Creatures like other Hunters did. If they were nice, and mostly passive, she would be friends with them, and not end up hunting them. It made her wonder how the Vamp walked in the sun, and she honestly wanted to know. It changed things if they could walk in the sun, they could be anywhere.

"Where to?"

Strutting down the sidewalk, she listened to her comrade's footsteps,   keeping an even pace, not too fast for the Hunter, and not too fast   others would question her. She walked with a purpose. At most it    seemed like a speedwalk. Nothing more. Turning her head back    at the question, Lex kept her walk and commented simply with a       small chuckle. "The Grill. Seems everyone likes to go there.       Nice environment, plenty of people to lead them out. If they're                           not there, we'd at least get detail."

          "Right. I'm kind of good vampire patrol. If there was               a government for that, I'd be president, but this               isn't twilight and we have no Volturi. Which is                 good because those dudes were crazy. But                               me leaving? Not a chance."

         "Someone has to watch you be an idiot so they can            fix it. It's kind of my job." Her grin mirrored his as            his hug was returned and she gave him the same            sentiment. "Eh. I guess I missed you, too. Maybe."
