The Christmas period was a blessing. The silence of his dungeons and the halls of Hogwarts as the majority of the school had departed for their home, it was truly a blissful experience that he could only enjoy. However unfortunately today it was not what he needed. The one time that he needed a volunteer and there was no one to be found. Normally he was constantly bothered. He couldn’t get a moment’s peace. But now he needed some assistance and there was no one to be seen to give it. However, at least there was some luck, because he couldn’t help but notice one of his students, moving through the hall. “Delilah,” he called, beckoning her over, “I’ve got a slight favour to ask, if you don’t mind.”
Delilah saw her head of house and had to physically stop herself from stopping in her tracks. She had some kind of fascination with the Slytherin that didn’t make much sense. Other than the fact that he was insanely talented in the aspect of magic and he was also a wildly intimidating person, Delilah knew that was she being dumb. So, she took a deep breath and the slightest of moment to compose herself before he spoke to her, then she lost her breath again. She walked over, though it felt like it was taking her years, before she was in front of him. ''Oh yeah, of course.'' She somehow stuttered out, though her voice covered for it and may it seemed much more composed than she was on the inside. ''What can I help with sir?''
