this might be the optimist in me but I like to think that jax's abstraction wasn't a full suicide per se, due to the intervention and all. I saw it as an attempt for sure, more like reaching the absolute bottom of a spiral where it feels like nothing and no one can save you. jax insists it's too late at first but as she realizes pomni isn't giving up she admits she doesn't want to go

and jax doesn't un-abstract, but the group manages to calm her down enough to get her to a safe place rather than tossing her in the "basement" like the rest. like it's obvious that jax was fucking terrified of loss and rejection and so pushed everyone away, bottled shit up, and locked her true self in the closet. and it made her unpleasant to be around! self-fulfilling prophecy!! but it obviously didn't work on pomni, who saw through the bullshit and made a conscious choice to reach out--even though it would hurt, even though jax had also treated her poorly (in thee most obvious attempt to hold her at arm's length and regain dominance in the relationship)

so I saw it as like, someone who has seen you at your very worst but understands you need help and doesn't reject you for that. I do think pomni pulled jax back from the edge and that the ending message is more "it's not too late, you will get through the darkest, ugliest moments of your life, but it takes time and patience and willingness to be vulnerable"
