Akane Nakajima
Illustrator Akane Nakajima, born in 1992, graduated from Musashino Art University's Visual Communication Design Department and won the 11th Graphic "1_WALL" Grand Prix in 2014. Nakajima paints unique forms that look like organic creatures and plants, mainly in watercolor, but she says that they depict something that cannot be applied to anything but cannot be visualized. Nakajima's works, which depict mysterious shapes and lines that expand the viewer's imagination, are often used for book bindings and illustrations.

I’ve been either holidaying, teaching, printing for others, or being under the weather. So I’m posting an old piece that helped me reshape my work some years ago. ‘High Waisted or Wasted II’ 2011 or 2012, 30x22”. #screenprint https://ift.tt/2FIT2h7
