Easy Italian Dinner Rolls

Easy Italian Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

Rolls:

1 and 1/4 Cup of warm water

1/4 Cup butter melted ( half of one stick)

2 Tablespoons Active dry yeast

1 Tablespoons sugar

1 Teaspoon salt

1 egg.

3 cups and 1/2 flour (preferably bread flour can use all purpose)

Topping:

1 stick butter melted

2 Teaspoons minced garlic

2 Teaspoons dried minced onion

1/4 Cup parmesan cheese OR any hard aged cheese

2 Teaspoons parsley

Apple Dapple Cake

Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Yield: one cake

Make the cake:

1 cup canola oil

2 cups sugar

3 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

4 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped.

3 cups flour… I like to use cake flour.

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Make the glaze:

1 cup light brown sugar

1 1/2 sticks butter

1/4 cup milk if you don’t have milk on hand can also use heavy cream or half and half

I’ll never forget the first day i saw you and said “i want her!” In a sea of heifers with curious faces you towered over the rest and your golden dairy face stood out in the crowd. Once i stood there and saw you walking around for a bit, i knew you’d be the perfect calf to show that year. You earned many blue ribbons in your time and I’m sad we weren’t able to get more daughters from you because you were a rare sight in the breed.
