“Yes that sounds like a great idea” She said with a laugh. “Well anyways I think im done drinking until the afterparty” She said as she put down her cup 

“I don’t blame you for that” she laughed. “So, where’s your date? Do you two have any prom after party hook up plans?” she asked, teasing her friend, and pushing her shoulder playfully.

The laugh that left her in response to Delycia’s words was almost musical and she couldn’t resist smiling as she listened to her. “Haven’t you heard? All the best people are crazy, angel, so I’m okay with that,” she teased, winking at Delycia before spinning around. “I’m not usually wrong so I’m probably right. And maybe you are kind of lucky since he’s sweet and all, but he’s definitely luckier,” she mused, meaning it wholeheartedly. Tally couldn’t take her eyes off the redhead as they moved with each other, like they’d danced together a thousand times before instead of this once. She licked her lips as she watched Del watching her, before taking her hands again and pulling her close, only to release her seconds later as the song came to an end, although that didn’t stop her from dancing. 

"Yeah, I have heard that actually” she smiled. Thalia’s laugh gave her butterflies in her stomach, which only grew with the other girls next words. “I’ll take your word for it, babe. Especially since you aren’t usually wrong” she grinned. She continued to dance with Tally, feeling the girls eyes on her, as she watched her. It was like they had choreographed their moves with how well they blended together, and Delycia let herself get lost in the music. Even when the song ended, she continued to dance. It was her passion after all, and it seemed like Tally might be a new passion of hers as well.

“Good” she said with a smile. She took a sip of the punch and scrunched her nose and said “Well if I have more then one of these I don’t think you’ll be the only one falling down” She joked 

Delycia’s couldn’t help but laugh as Penny scrunched up her nose. “Well, at least we can make a fool of ourselves together. We’ll just get Jase and Georgie to beat up anyone who laughs at us” she joked.

“It’s definitely a promise, if it’s something you’re willing to try. I could be the Patrick Swayze to your Jennifer Grey,” she replied, smiling as she took in the blush that was forming on the redhead’s face, which only endeared her to Tally even more. It also somehow made her more beautiful, if that were even possible. “Very very lucky, but I’m sure he’s well aware of that,” she mused honestly, licking her lips after the words escaped her. She couldn’t help but laugh as the other girl did, as she continued to twirl her around. There was something infectious about it; it was a laugh like wind chimes, even if that would have sounded cliche had she said it aloud. 

“Oh my gosh” she giggled, placing her hand over her face to hide her blushing. “You are a little crazy, you know that?” Her words were playful and not meant in a bad way at all. She truly enjoyed spending time with Tally, she made her feel like  she was the only person in the room. “Well, I hope you’re right. He’s a sweet guy, so I guess I’m kind of lucky too” she smiled. Tyler wasn’t exactly on her mind at the moment, and she felt kind of bad about that. But her focus was zoomed in on Thalia, and the way she was moving in time with her on the dance floor, as if their bodies were one. Delycia’s eyes fell to Tally’s lips as she smiled, and she pulled her bottom lip between her teeth.

“I know, have I ever let you down?” She joked. Penny took a cup of the punch and took a sip, there was more booze then punch in the bowl at this point but she didn’t mind, she could handle it. “Well cheers to dying on the night of our lives?” She joked back. 

“Nope, and I don’t expect you to start now either” she beamed, smiling from ear to ear. She watched as Penny tried the punch and she made a cringe face as she awaited her reaction. “Cheers, to that” she laughed, pretending to give her a cheers with an invisible cup.

“I’ll twirl you around like the boys do in the movies and we can even try that move from Dirty Dancing if you trust me not to drop you,” she teased, unable to prevent her gaze from dropping to the redhead’s lips. There was no denying that Del was gorgeous, and Thalia had no shame as she let her eyes travel down her body and back to her face again. She really was wearing that dress like she was doing it a favor. “Not sweet. Just honest. I don’t know who your date is but they are certainly very lucky,” she complimented genuinely, teeth grazing her lower lip as she tried to keep her focus on Delycia’s face. Her smile morphed into a playful smirk as the girl took her by the hands and she immediately spun her in a circle before releasing one of her hands, keeping hold of the other one as she started swaying to the beat of the music. 

Yeah? Is that a promise?” she asked, a shy grin forming across her lips. Delycia couldn’t help but notice as Tally’s eyes traveled down the length of her body and back up again, and it caused her to blush and giggle. She was used to being checked out but, not particularly by someone as mysterious as Thalia was. “He is pretty lucky isn’t he?” she mused, she was in no way trying to sound conceited but, she knew she was hot. Anyone would be lucky to even have a change with her, especially since she was still a virgin. Laughing as Tally spun her around and released one of her hands, she moved her hips to the music. She was a trained, professional dancer. But, with the alcohol, and the butterflies in her stomach, she felt like a middle schooler, twirling around on the playground.

“Well, we’re going to be spinning on the dance floor anyway, aren’t we?” She grinned, mostly joking, as she finished off the last of her punch and tossed the empty cup in the trash, before leading Delycia out onto the dance floor. “Why, thank you, and honestly, you look like a vision in that dress. You’re doing it a favor by wearing it,” she complimented in reply before starting to move her body to the music, letting the beat take over. 

“We most definitely will be” she agreed, with a soft giggle. Watching Tally finish of her drink, she slowly licked her lips, and smiled flirtatiously. She couldn’t help herself, even though she had never actually flirted with a girl before. There was just something about Tally that sparked her interest in a different sort of way. Once they were on the dance floor, Delycia could feel her cheeks heat up from the compliment the other girl had given her. “You are too sweet, stop” she giggled again.  As she moved her body along with Thalia, she pulled her bottom lip between her teeth as she watched her. The alcohol coursing through her making her a bit more gutsy as she reached out and took the other girls hands.

“I’m already tipsy” she giggled, shaking her head. She was definitely a light weight compared to the other girls, but she didn’t mind as long as they kept her from making a fool of herself. “Good, I am putting my complete trust in you. Don’t let me down” she winked. Watching Penny as she poured the flask into the punch bowl, the smell alone made her gag. “Oh my god, we are all going to die tonight” she joked.
