Ruth dies on screen in an inherently funny way following a song about her hopes and dreams through the eyes of a character that she never got to play.

Richie's death was abstract and followed a song entirely centering his death. We don't see Richie die, instead we focus on the aftermath. both deaths are tragic, gory, and brutal but Richie's is always worse. Richie begs for his life in his final song, but so does Ruth.

Ruth's song details her regret and longing for the things she was to scared to accomplish. She might have had time but she ends the song scared. And then she's killed by someone she let fall because she tried to be brave, to be strong and stand up for herself. But she did it wrong and now she will never have a chance to do right and be brave for herself.

Both of them died young and with regrets. They both died just as they were given the environment to be themselves and to do the things that people made them fear. Both deaths were tragic. Both songs were tragic. Both of them died too soon, alone, and afraid. Both of their deaths were tragic but the fandom puts so much emphasis on Richie and practically ignores Ruth.

I have seen people say that Richie's death was worse. He was tortured more, it hurt him more, no one cared but this is true for Ruth as well. Ruth was Split. In. Half. That is horrific. Even if it was played for comedy, because the method was a wedgie, that is still a slow and painful way to die. Ruth's death was just as devastating as Richie.

*1996: A BTS fanfiction (Kim Taehyung/Jung Hoseok) about Taehyung, a 20 year old from 2025 meeting Hoseok who is an accidental time traveler from 1996.

*The lawyer of a piece of cellophane: A chicago fanfiction (Billy Flynn/Amos Hart) about Billy Flynn trying to convince Amos to legally divorce Roxie so they both can get royalties, but Billy gets distracted and falls in love.

And I also got some OC's but currently I only work seriously on "Gray areas":

*Gray areas follows the life of Demian, since he is 10 years old to when he's 35. He goes through a lot of struggles and learns about self acceptance and the beauty of being alive.
