"You seriously never drank before?"

"I've drunk a lot of pop!"

"Can’t say I think that’s possible, little man. Y’know, monsters after us and all. You alright, though?"

"We could run away together big broooother" He grinned.

"As long as there’s alcohol."

"Yep! But I've never had that so..."

"Yeah." Jayden breathed. "Basically, alcohol and girls."

"Hmm maybe I should try that...but I like boys"

"As long as you’re sure. Try making more friends around here, at least. That’d probably take your mind off things."

"I've already tried that" Steven groaned

Jayden inhaled. “Eight years.”

"Whoa...that's a long time." Steven blinked 'How don't you get bored? I'm miserable"

"…Fine. Good things have happened to me today, so I guess..I can pay for most of it, if you want. It’s not like I’m not rich. Plus, I guess I’m trying to be a nicer person." He just didn’t like seeing people who reminded him of his sister sad. "Do you want to take up the offer..?"

Steven shook his head "I wouldn't feel right accepting it....but thank you so much anyway!"

"Yeah!" Jayden smiled, reaching for the candy bar. "Thanks." He started eating it, looking at the other boy. "So, how long have ya been here?"

"You're welcome" Steven hummed a bit "Awhile now...three years How about you?"

"Hey, I’m Jayden."

"Nice to meet you!" Steven grinned and conjured up a 3 musketeer bar for him "Want a candy bar?!"

"I wouldn’t know anything about that. But if you want to see them so badly, why not arrange for them to come to the city and go out with them for a day or so?"

"Flying from Hawai'i to New York is real expensive" He sighed.

"Yeah, but the most chaotic thing I’ve done is drink a few shots of whiskey."

"Alright then. My name is Steven!"

"I guess not. I just miss home...and my friends"

"But camp is mega boring!"
