Not so Rough Landing || Self Para

I landed on the ground and shifted from my dragon form, into my human form. It wasn’t unusual for me to go take a fly whenever I felt like it, or if I just wanted to clear my mind. I landed in a field, seeing as it was big enough for me to land without breaking anything. I mostly tried to fins an open and empty space when I landed, seeing as it was uncomfortable to land on a big tree branch, or even a tree trunk. Looking around me I could help but notice that there was someone, most likely and elf or a wood nymph, who was watching me. I slowly turned towards them, as to not alarm them. As far as I knew, they were most likely easily startled creatures. “Hello, I know that you’re there watching me.” I said to them, making sure that they could hear me clearly as I let my voice ring throughout the forest. I saw her slowly start to reveal herself, and waited until she was completely in the open until I said anything else. “Did you see that just now? Did you see me coming down as a dragon and shifting back into a human?” I asked her, wanting to know if she saw everything or not. She nodded her head and I smirked. “I’m not a shifter by the way, I’m a dragon.” I told her, taking a few steps closer to her. I saw her start to back away slowly as she began shaking.

“O-Oh, well y-you’re a v-very handsome d-dragon!” She said so quietly that I could barely hear her. I could see the terror in her eyes. The closer I got to her, the more frantic to get away she seemed. Although she only started to stumble as she backed away. When she backed into a tree, tears filled her eyes. “P-Please d-don’t h-hurt m-me.” She pleaded with me. I couldn’t help but laugh. She was so intimidated by me by simply being in my presence. This whole situation was comical.

“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. Much.” I said as I let out a puff of smoke and watched as she started to wail.
