I honestly think that if I had actually talked with other kids and got in trouble in class I would be less depressed. At least then I would have friends and actually be able to do things. I wish I was able to go out and do things but I couldn’t because I had to do my homework. I feel like if I tried less hard in school and focused more on doing actual life I’d enjoy it a lot better. But no, school taught me useless homework is more important than building relationships with peers. They taught me not to talk with other kids in class when that could have been positive bonding moments. Yeah, I might have straight A’s but I wasted my youth on it.
