CFTMC - Mammon (Obey Me)

Starting a new thing where I'm going to try and go through all the fandoms I've been part of and draw some of the characters from it. Treated myself today to a favourite; I still love Mammon a lot even if I haven't looked near Obey Me properly in years!

The new Obey Me game has a whole rhythm game in it? I already feel myself being reeled back in ;u;

I heard people talking about the new 3D models, but the character models are actually the same except for certain places on the app ^^ The 3D ones,, are definitely strange looking, but you can play the game fairly normally without them

However, the scenes that do have the 3D models? Cannot be sped up with the 3 arrows option ;u; so you either have to sit through them, and watch the Very Slow scenes play out, or you can skip them entirely

So yeah! Interesting so far ^^ some of the new art is very cute, especially in the Rhythm Game part

A little first chapter of the Mermaid AU with Sun and Moon ^^

Scrapped Daycare AU Opener

Working in the Daycare proved an easy job, one you were glad you’d been hired for. They didn’t particularly need a human staff member there, but you supposed you were here as a back up, as a human for the parents or kids to go to if the animatronics still made them nervous.

Aside from that, you had very little else to do, and spent a lot of your time entertaining stray children or tidying up. If any of the kids were too tired, they were free to hang out with you for a bit and have a nap safely away from the noise, but mostly they stayed with the Daycare Attendant. 

You could see why. He was fun to be around, despite the whole… being a robot, thing. It was all a struggle  at first, fretting about how to act around him and what to call him - did he have a name? Saying Daycare Attendant every time was so incredibly awkward and distant, and you didn’t like how his head seemed to droop any time you used it. But… he was comfortable, good at making friends with anybody and everybody - from children to teens to grown ups, it seems.

The first time you called him Sun, his shoulders seemed to rise in an oddly human fashion - you’d never guess he was made of metal. His head tilted at the nickname, smile seeming brighter for a moment as he bounced between his two feet, excitedly lifting up the child he was playing with who responded with a squeal of delight and bubbly laughter you wanted to mirror. 

It only evolved from there. Sun, Sunny, Sundrop. You slipped up once, too preoccupied, and called him Honey, and you’d swear he’s never been so still in his life before or since then. It was the way his head clicked and whirred, sun “rays” gently ticking in and out as he stared at you all too openly. The reaction had you laughing once you realised what you’d said, and that nickname stuck around. Honey. Dear. Sunshine. 

He seemed to delight in all of it, hands flapping excitedly up and done every time a new name was given, like you’d offered him all the candy in the world.

The worst part of the day is where friendly greetings become nothing but a goodbye, a promise to see him again soon, you wouldn’t leave for long! Just until the next shift. Sun always walks with you to the edge of the room, and you always lock the door carefully, because that was also a part of your job. It was an aspect you’d been reminded of daily on your Fazphone - lock the door, lock the door, lock the door. Even Sunny parroted it at you from time to time towards the end of the day.

Promise me you’ll lock the door.

How The Brothers React When The MC Favours Mammon and Sticks Up For Him

Lucifer

Well. He doesn't like it. Did anyone expect him to? You were so open about how much you favoured Mammon over himself or his other brothers, even making a point to be more affectionate to Mammon the ruder they were.

Lucifer sees it as an act of disrespect, and probably goes a little hard on you for a while at the beginning. You find yourself with more chores than seems fair, more study sessions, and higher expectations. If you're going to play with Mammon, you certainly can't end up as stupid as him.

He acts unbothered, though. After a while he almost does get over it - there's still a longing he can't place and denies, a hidden ache he ignores and that grows worse every time he opens his mouth to spit venom and you respond by kissing Mammon, by playing with his hair, by covering his ears and telling him not to listen, not to pay any attention to the lies.

Overall just not fond of it. It feels like he's lost a game he never signed up for, and he's not one to lose.

Leviathan

Well. He wasn't expecting that. Your attachment to Mammon seems to grow quickly, with you even defending him early on before you properly know him - the man had just walked you home and kept you safe, and Levi was going to introduce himself by talking trash about him? No way were you putting up with that.

Levi is bitter. Normies should be with normies, he insists, but really he'd die to have a hero like you in his life. A support, a pillar, a strength. He knows that's what you are for Mammon.

He only really copes by not forming a deep attachment in the first place, but he does make a show of extending a hand out to Mammon and trying to be more polite, the longer you stay. C'mon. The two of you can play games with him, and if he accidentally lets an insult slip during the game he apologises before you can wrap your arms around Mammon and pull him close.

Seeing you defend and favour Mammon in such a way has his skin itching, though. He'll do anything to avoid seeing it, even if it means biting his cheek and keeping his mouth shut. He doesn't want to be cared for like that, he doesn't. But please see how hard he's trying, at least.

Satan

This was certainly something. There was a weak little human in his territory and they were going to stand up to him for his pathetically stupid brother?

It takes Satan a lot longer to get attached to you because of that. You're so openly in favour of Mammon, you don't hide it at all, and you even bite back and hide him away in a hug when Satan or another brother says anything you don't like? He's never met anyone like that and he doesn't like it, doesn't like that he's being challenged in a way he's not allowed to respond to.

Eventually he takes a liking to you though. You're brave, at least, and once he bites down the jealousy he doesn't want to admit to, he's able to appreciate your attitude and determination. He starts to tease you indirectly through Mammon, and if you catch on to the game he makes of it he only works harder.

Uses it as an opportunity, really, to have a little fun or to support you. If you and Mammon are having a bad time, he'll start pretending to pick on Mammon until you perk up and defend him and cuddle up to him. Its... a weird way to go about it, but Satan's not one to be direct about his own feelings when the person they're for doesn't reciprocate them. Ergo, have fun running around in loops with this guy.

Asmodeus

((Mildly Suggestive CW))

Oh, what, and you couldn't have chosen him instead? Maybe you just have no taste, MC! Not that he cares - he can have anyone he wants any time he wants, even if that, for some reason... doesn't include you?

Pouty and stubborn and doesn't stop. Show as much love to Mammon as you want, he's not going to change his ways... yet. After a while it starts to irritate him so much he just kind of avoids you two, or teases you for being such a lovebird - I mean, c'mon, you're worse than him aren't you? Trying to take his job, hmm? Keep it in your pants, MC!

Asmo wolf whistles any time you do quite literally anything with Mammon. He's all too ready to call out to you both, to tell you to get a room, stop tainting the rest of the house with your dirty behaviour. But he winks and laughs every time. If you react or do something like stick out your tongue at him, it only encourages him more.

Might tease Mammon just to get a reaction out of you like Satan? He only does it when you're within earshot, and his taunts are more playful than anything nowadays - there's no sting to it any more, no poisonous barbs. He's light and careful and considerate in ways he didn't think he would ever bother being.

Still doesn't like how much you hang off Mammon, but he'll get over it. He has enough love in his life and enough fans to support him for an eternity.

Beelzebub

Beel isn't often intentionally rude to Mammon, he just lacks a filter and parrots off what his brothers say - its fact to him, not an insult and not intended to do any harm.

He only realises it could be hurting Mammon when you arrive and start sticking up for him. The first time you lay into Beel in Mammon's defense is probably the last time.

Its as simple as that. You kiss Mammon once because Beel says something and shoot him a glare and he never does it again. He's the fastest to apologise, to reconsider what he's been doing - he's supposed to be the support for the family, their bodyguard, and yet apparently he's been tearing Mammon down this whole time? He's not going to let that continue happening.

Doesn't really like that you favour Mammon. It leaves him feeling empty in a way food can't fill.

Belphegor

((Mild Season 1 Spoilers, kept vague))

Belphie doesn't get to see how you are around Mammon for a while, and his brothers are already adapting by the time he leaves the attic. Satan is already acting weird around Lucifer, and now they're all being... not kind, its not the world, but almost tolerable to Mammon? He's got to fix this.

That plan doesn't last. Its more Beel's reaction the first time he says something that gets him. There's a hand on his shoulder and his eyes go wide when you shoot him a look before standing on your tiptoes to press a kiss to Mammon's cheek. Don't listen, you coo.

If you taunt him about what he's done, that's it - his ammunition is gone, he's never going to say a bad word against either of you ever again.

Still doesn't like how you hang off Mammon though. Perhaps if he'd been around from the start, you might favour him more. He's jealous and blames it vaguely on Lucifer in his mind, but Beel seems happy enough and keeps an eye on him so he doesn't slip up and say anything rude, and its enough for him if you even talk to him, honestly.

Bonus: Mammon

He's back in the Celestial Realm in his mind, feeling like the war is about to start. Everything is so unreasonably peaceful and he doesn't think he deserves it, but he chases the feeling too. The feeling of being wanted, of belonging, of having someone who actually openly cared about him. You affection was shown in kind touches and remarks rather than hidden behind a sharp tongue and a sharper glare.

Its everything he needs in his life, and he appreciates it. Mammon is an emotional wreck around you, and he honestly needs to be. He needs to let it all out - this is thousands of years and insults bleeding out of him, finally being neutralised.

Mammon might build up the courage to start rewarding you. Its little trinkets at first, shiny things he finds that you might like. He slides some of his rings onto your fingers as well after a while - with no other intentions, he stresses with a furious blush, knowing your human traditions. Everything he has is shared with you as a thank you for letting him in and for being by his side.

i did not include lilith or thirteen in this because nrc is an all boys school but if anyone would like my placements for them i am happy to share. also i did not proofread this so apostrophes may be inconsistent.

Not sure if this is because I’m aroace spec or what but like

Someday I just wanna read a thing about Hanahaki disease and like, the person suffering it (A) tells the person they’re crushing on (B) that they like them and that’s why they have the disease and whatever or B just somehow finds out but B is like. I’m sorry, I don’t like you back and I can’t make myself, like that’s just not possible, you’re not my type / I’m not attracted to anyone etc.

And like either A perceives them as being rude (they’re not - they’re just blunt / being honest) and stops liking them for it and is cured OR B comes up with this plan to make A absolutely despise them to cure the disease. There’s no working to like A, they’re just going to be an absolute asshole so A stops having a crush on them.
