I love Wisp! Please tell us more about her, if you want to!
Oh absolutely. She's my favourite darling at the moment. I will warn, this will have mentions of sex as it is a big part of Wisp.
"Wisp" (not her real name. Fae rules) is a DND character I'm currently playing in one of my longer campaigns. She's a Fiend Warlock Fairy.
She grew up in the Feywild until she met a human and realised they were so short-lived and yet so fun, and left a few years later to explore Faerun. She's spent years travelling across it, spending a few months here and there before moving on.
She began as a fighter with her own party, until she settled down with her first husband, an elf who liked to take things veryyyy slowww. Wisp found out she very much was not fond of this.
When they divorced, she continued adventuring until she met her second husband, a human man who was putting his own adventuring days behind him. They settled down together for years, until he suddenly disappeared (I have a comic in progress about this one, I should work on it). She hasn't found him yet, but she's looking!
At the same time, she got word her party was in trouble. She got hit with the ol' amnesia beam when she caught up to them though, and is cursed, unable to progress beyond 8 Strength mechanically.
She started moving around instead as an Entertainer with a natural gift with instruments, picking up 4 through her travels (lyre, lute, violin, and flute).
Also worked as a prostitute, though more casually and only when she felt like it.
She ran into a Succubus outside a town when investigating disturbances, ended up flirting with her as is her nature and earning herself a Pact.
Now with a new adventuring party, including a Human Wizard, an Elven Ranger, and a Tiefling Cleric. She regularly flirts with the Human and Tiefling, holding a grudge against Elves. The Tiefling is a gay man and does NOT reciprocate, but they're getting to be closer friends.
Wisp does have a tendancy to make up for her physicality by keeping people at some kind of mental / emotional distance. She'll flirt with them and have sex easy if they're interesting enough, but she'll move on as if it never happened unless she wants that to happen again.
She reveals very little about herself and her past, finding the concept boring but also struggling with her mix of 'memories', although she's slowly regaining them. She finds this too much of a weakness to reveal and keeps it close to her chest. Even her Patron knows little more than her sexual preferences.
She also has two tattoos I'll try and show off soon; a Pact Mark tattoo on her lower stomach (think general Succubus style stamp with a heart in the centre), and claw marks by her fairy wings, mostly hidden by them and her hair.
Speaking of, she has never had a haircut! That's why it's so long ^^
