Dnd AL magic rules suck

....im really starting to hate the AL in DND. it was fun at first, but then they had to remove the good magic items from the whole game. starting with the Shield Guardians, i LOVED them. i was playing a necromancer that didnt really have any AC but when i learned that i could make something that could boost it i thought that would fix the problem...Nope. after playing a game with them i learned from another DM that season 8 had banned them from use....WHY!?!? its such a good item to make! hell i made 4 of those fuckers so i wouldn’t get hit all the time. thats like +8 AC!!! so as of today im switching over to homebrew games. because homebrew doesnt suck the fun out of everything. fuck AL

Subway going away

so apparently the subway that’s close to my neighborhood is going to close this weekend. its been there for a good 14 years and because the publix store decided to buy out the shopping area they thought it would be okay to jack up the stores rent....whatever that means. but im sad because i work like next door to the subway at papa johns. i used to go next door to get my lunch but now because of this shit i have to walk or drive an extra distance just to get my sandwich. thanks alot publix, thanks a lot.

Dnd 5th pyromancer build?

so ive been playing DnD for about 2 years now and ive got a collection of characters from past games. now im in the mood to create a pyromancer but im having a bit of a road block. i've researched items that would make my character stronger but there's nothing that boosts fire spells or fire magic items besides the flame tongue. is there story items that i can unlock or do i have to craft them?
