Hey folx, are your lamps synced with your overhead lights like on TV or is that due to some set-design thing?

Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair
Streaming on Hulu and Disney+
Non-binary character (Kelly, youngest sibling of Malcolm) played by a non-binary actor (Vaughan Murrae) who is treated fairly well by the family about it.
Another returning character is in a gay marriage, with a kid.
Some other characters appear to be in a polycule, also with a kid.
I want someone to look at me the way Hal and Lois look at each other; the 4 episodes include their 40th anniversary party and the hectic planning.
Really enjoyed it, including the diversity. Felt very homage to the original series. Some big nostalgia nods and some wacked out tripping.
10/10 go check it out

Idk about best, but i have the most memorable for me! Dead Rising 3 on XBO.
I'm going through the tutorial, learning how to play, and a zombie comes out of nowhere in this dark tunnel. I shake it off somehow and keep running. I later learned that that moment was a tutorial for a new feature for the XBO.
When the zombie grappled me, it was such a jump-scare and I jumped so hard i missed the message that said something like "shake the controller to get them off you" because i did it organically.
Also memorable was the time i played FNAF (3? The one where you're a toddler) in the dark and at the first jump-scare, screamed so loud i feared a neighbour would call the cops. No one did, thankfully.
Thanks for the message! :)

my daily affirmation as an author
I swear every two or so episodes of Star Trek I'm looking up another actor's back catalogue to see where i know them from because their face is familiar.
Deep Space Nine S2E11 sees a new rival for Quark in the form of Chris Sarandon, Prince Humperdinck from Princess Bride who also voiced Jack Skellington in Nightmare Before Christmas.
How dare he be in so many absolute bangers. Also he continued to voice Jack in the Disney Infinity video game series.
Well played, Chris Sarandon o7
Update (I'm watching it for the first time now): he's one of the first I've seen to correctly use the phrase "i couldn't care less" as so many say 'could' instead meaning entirely the opposite thing.
This is likely the script writers' work rather than the actor, but still. Nice.

The Wadi approximately 10 minutes after arriving on board Deep Space Nine: hey wanna play 3D&D?
And then they proceed to pull out a giant, elaborate board game and get a game going.
I admire their hyper interest in practice, bringing a board game to an alien first contact situation.
I love that Picard is so in love with horse riding that he narrowly misses a hostage situation and does a Die Hard because he heard there were horses and just left some fancy event he was expected to be there for and runs off to get changed into his riding gear and get his personal saddle to go for a ride right now.
Like it was mid conversation then horses are mentioned and he yeets himself out that social situation and runs off for his tack but there are invaders in the Enterprise.
Horse girl version of a vampire turning into a cloud of bats to get out of a conversation.
