demonurian:
Urian listened carefully, despite already removing the pink-and-white, eared, hat from his head and carelessly dropping it to the ground (to the salesmamās dissmay) only to pick an over sized, rainbow, beanie. It had a picture of a black swirl over the rainbow stitching. He looked to Abraham with an incredulous look and set it down again to start walking once more.
As the vampire came to a conclusion he raised a single brow. āYou burnt the book.ā He repeated bemusedly, a chuckle in his voice. The demon rose their held hands and placed a kiss to Abrahamās gently. āSo what, exactly, is your question?ā
Abraham gave an odd smile as he picked up and dusted off the rejected hat before taking his own off and returning it to catch up with Urian and taking his hand again. There is no reason to let this derail the day. Smiling softly at the kiss.
āDid I somehow manage to curse myself? Is that why everyone I love dies badly?ā
The question surprised him, to say the least. He looked to Abraham again as they walked, lacing their fingers together gently but securely; a gentle squeeze given to assure him the day was dar from ruined. At least, he hoped it was assuring enough. "Only if you think you did." he paused a moment in speech to think. "It IS possible such a curse could be enacted if the book was destroyed in any way, normally an insurance policy thats used by people promised that a loved one would be cared for, if that makes sense?"
