@denniain
it is very childish and naive but i am still so shocked to see that so many people are just fucking outright mean
This is insane
the podcast āendless threadā did an episode on this called ācatfish for dinnerā where they investigated the origin of the story! tl;dr a tiktoker who posts fake drama stories made it up for clout and itās based on nothing.
When the corporate customer service quiz has this as a question:
And you have to decide if you want to pass the course or be true to your heart.
annoying as fuck
I think my favorite memes are the ones about insignificant but universally relatable things
*kicks a large rock sadly but it was actually a geodude and you watch me fight for my life as it mauls me*
lmao haha *walks away laughing at you but I trip over a rock that also turns out to be a geodude and it sends me to the ER*
Lmaoooo *I walk away and trip on a rock thatās not a Geodude but it sends me to the ER anyway after I fall flat on my face*

You're not immune to being the bully btw. You're not immune to being in the wrong
"But i'm-" there is no identity or state of being that makes you immune to hurting someone. You can be convinced that you are in the right for doing so. You can be convinced that you're defending someone by doing so. You have always got to examine if you're taking pleasure in hurting someone or if you're actually doing something good.

More Muppet Princess Bride fan art! I didn't feel a need to Muppetify this line at all, I feel like Piggy saying this and then cutting to Kermit's trademark eyes is funny enough. Hopefully ya'll agree!
I spent way too much time wondering if I should change "Farm boy" to "Farm frog" but farm boy just sounded better.
I intended to draw Kermit with the same expression Westley has in the film, but it's hard to resist giving Kermit at least a slight smile. So let's just say he's smiling because he genuinely appreciates Piggy's compliment.
So, right after posting the previous drawing one of my Instagram followers (Thank you C_Robinns!) pointed out a line of Piggy's from the Muppet Show describing Kermit's eyes and I am immediately forced to acknowledge that THIS is the far superior version of this scene (Seriously how perfect is this line??).
we won
My favorite response to āthatās not a wordā is āthen why do you know what it means?ā
Every time someone within 30 miles of me says āthatās a made up wordā I am uncontrollably compelled to respond āALL WORDS ARE MADE UP!ā
In a college language class I took, we talked about the Jabberwocky poem and the professor had us try to explain every word in it. When we got to āoutgrabeā she asked why it was past tense and my response was āCause the present tense is outgribeā. Her response was āThat doesnāt answer the question but that brings up a better one. Why do you know that?ā
Please go watch Sex Explained on Netflix. Not only is it a great resource for the basic sex education that is sorely lacking in the U.S., but some of yaāll need to take a deep breath and remember the difference between fantasy vs reality. This purity culture thing that weāre going through right now is directly harmful to responsible, healthy sexual expression. BTW this woman, Lisa Diamond, is a noted psychologist and has been pushing for greater understanding of womens sexuality as a whole.
!!!!!!!!!!!
I had (group) lunch with her once at a conference back in, oh, 2009. Unfortunately she later said something to a colleague that came off pretty biphobic so it put me off her a bit, but her work on the fluidity of sexual orientation identity in women was ground-breaking and deeply influenced me and my work. Well worth reading.
