SeaQuench Ale (Dogfish Head)
Brewery : Dogfish Head Beer : SeaQuench Ale Style : Gose / Grodziskie / Lichtenhainer Variance : Brewed with Lime Juice, Lime Peel, Black Limes, and Sea Salt
8.5 / 10
See, even Dogfish Head is joining the movement! Black Limes Matter! Black Limes Matter! I actually feel a little bad about that joke because at a time like this with shit happening like in Charlottesville, Virginia, we all need to come together more than ever. By come together of course I don’t mean get along because let’s be real, humans weren’t meant to get along with most other humans but I think we can all agree that Nazis fucking suck and racism should be a thing of the past. I feel like bringing a case of this beer to the next Alt-Right dickhead rally and instead of drinking them, I could just throw them right in their piece of shit white supremacist faces and shove their tiki torches right in their dick holes. I won’t lie, it made made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside when I saw that it was mainly white people beating the fuck out of those nazi scumbags but shit like this should not be happening in 2017. Oh, and I would never waste even a single can on those human excrements so don’t worry DFH. Also, sorry for dragging you all into that little rant but things like that really get under my skin but luckily this beer is here to get me through it. A nice bright lime flavor starts this one off with plenty of that citrus flavor before the sea salt and pucker kicks in completely transforming this from sweet to sour all while leading you to a great mix of all those flavors with almost a wheat like aftertaste to balance this whole thing out. This beer has definitely SeaQuenched my thirst and I honestly could see myself polishing off a whole pack of this down by the pool on a hot summer day. If this is your first sour you better get your face ready to experience expressions it’s never made before because this does not shy away from the sour power but it’s still a great intro in the gose style because of it’s lime-a-licious additions. For you bastards out there, snag a few cans of this and pucker up because this is a keeper for sure. Fo’ Sho’. Fo Shizzle.

Ozone IPA (Orono)
Brewery : Orono Beer : Ozone IPA Style : IPA Variance : None
8.5 / 10
I’m pretty excited that Trump got elected president. I joked about it in my other review but now that it is a reality, I’m psyched. I assure you it’s not because I think he’ll do a great job or make America “great again” but mainly because I can completely unlearn what the word “ozone” means because by the time he hopefully leaves office in 2021, there won’t be one anymore. That frees up a whole lot of brain space to fill with other crap like music lyrics and celebrities names and hopefully he exposes China for creating the whole global warming hoax. Just kidding. Him getting into office is going to be the worst thing ever for our country and world and has exposed how fucking stupid a lot of Americans are and I just hope that science prevails and the Earth isn’t boiling hot or completely covered in water because of Trump using 200 cans of aerosol hairspray a day. Regardless of all of that, this beer is a ray of hope with it’s delicious flavors and I couldn’t be happier that Orono sent this out to me. If only I had another 30 cans of this to drown my sorrows but instead, let’s break it down a little for ya. A nice citrus and spiced hop bitterness starts this off with some grassy and resin notes mixing in with even more of that balanced bitterness before ending with a grapefruity blend of bitter and sweet. I love this beer and holding it close like a teddy bear or a blankie is the only thing that can get me through these hard times and if you feel the same way, I’d highly recommend picking up minimum of a 4 pack to help out. If you are a fan of hops and want to see what Galaxy hops are truly capable of, snag this beer and do your part to ensure that both this beer and the actual ozone are still around for the net 4 years. If you are just dabbling in IPAs for the first time, this is a great way to do it because it tastes great and has an amazing balance of flavors so snag a can and cheers me you fuckers.
