While many humans seem to become more automatic and mechanical in behavior, others are building machines to be more humanlike through engineering and machine ethics. Society shapes technology as technology shapes society simultaneously.

Superposition by Alec Huxley

From Alec: Superposition is a concept in quantum physics that deals with sub-atomic particles and how they may exist in two different locations at the same time. This piece is an exploration of multiple levels of seemingly incompatible states existing at once: The character floats above a street, it's double a moment delayed. A space helmet and oxygen hose worn with a cocktail dress, not a pressure suit. And the gaseous cosmic bloom in the sky visible despite the bright city lights.
