Process for inktober no. 3, wherein a secret bird is revealed I kinda prefer the original thumbnail where the beak is going down over her torso? Which got lost in the inking. And probably precipitated the bird going away in favor of a rat. Sokay I really love this drawing I'll abandon a bird for it

hey hey hey! eyes up here! THIS one's the face! I wanted to post my Inktober process videos to Instagram, but they're too long 😭 and I can't be bothered to figure out how to speed them up. So I GUESS I have to just do some cross-promotion 🙄 I had a ton of trouble with this first guy, he almost tanked the entire inktober endeavor. All my drawings were kinda busted, and this was my first time inking in Procreate and so a couple times in this video you can see me trying out and modifying different tools. In a pit of despair I added the big fat eyebrows and then I was like "give all the skulls fun accessories, oh my god this drawing is saved" I like the galosh but I kinda wish I'd kept his widdle feet Of course the skull on his shoulder horn is also alive, but he's just along for the ride. Are they friends? Or is he just a ghost who gives directions. I don't know

Manager Dog - Twize 0.4 Prototype

Manager dog, a still comic I made over a year ago, has been the test comic I’ve been using for the past three (gosh) months of basic Twize development.  And now it’s done!

Wizard Town doesn’t have actual hosting at the moment, just this Tumblr, but hopefully this will work: you can download manager dog from my Drive as a .zip—unzip it, open the .html file, and click to your heart’s content!

Actually, go easy on the clicks.  It may act weird if you try to advance the panel too fast.  That’s planned for a later version.  Note also that Twize is still very young, and I haven’t done a ton of compatibility testing for multiple browsers. I’m developing in chrome on windows—that’ll probably work best.

Manager Dog lives live on the internet here it its original 0.4 form.  I later updated Manager Dog to the more stable and aesthetically-pleasing 0.5, which while non-canonical, is the ‘better’ and ‘more complete’ version of manager dog:

Finally: I started another dev blog for actual development blogging, which I hope to maintain.  It might be a little opaque because I’m actually using it to write stuff down and talk stuff out, but if you wanna be a Twize / WT superfan, go follow that at wizardtown-innersanctum.  I just wrote a partial feature list yesterday which may be of interest to nobody, or possibly you.
