I am still having trouble thinking about my mom. It hurts every single time, even the happy thoughts turn into an overwhelming sadness. What hurts the most is knowing she has always loved more than she has ever received. Knowing she has never been appreciated and treated by a lover the way she deserved. That she has never gotten to travel to places she would have loved to experience. Knowing she has always worked and never took a break for herself because she thought she couldn't afford it or because she was more concern with me and my sisters well being. You left us way to soon and I'm going to live my life loving and experiencing and living out all the things I want to do and take you along with me in spirit. Happy Birthday, Mom. I miss you and I love you so very much.
