Hi friends! It’s me, ya girl who only draws cute people in 3/4 profile!! I haven’t posted in what feels like a decade, I’m sorry! During 2017 I was posting what little art I made to my twitter account, and I haven’t been drawing much in 2018.

I also forgot to mention, I changed my tumblr handle from @greyhare to @derrieredraws like half a year ago!! Hi again!!

i miss oekaki.com, and tegaki and 2draw being busy. i feel like for the most part, the oekaki/pchat english-speaking community has died, or at least cooled way down. in 2008 niko’s used to be full every night with people and i made so many cool friends but now it’s like.. five people, if that. even mangamasters doesn’t have as many frequenters as it used to. i wanna draw with people and talk but everywhere’s gone quiet

I agree, I really miss those sorts of communities, where socializing SO CLOSELY tied to arting at and arting WITH other people.

There is a Tegaki/pchat site (or is it a program? i dunno) currently being developed called paint*berri, it’s not in beta stage yet, but so far it’s looking really promising with the tools they’ve shown and I REALLY HOPE it doesnt somehow end up dying before it’s launched. Fingers crossed?

#of course there is always the option of trying to get a tumblr movement started for artists to congregate these things again #but that sounds like a lot of work #because let's be honest we all just wanna draw and not have to drag people into it first #reblobbed #phenergan
