So I completely ruined the canvas of the last drawing I did of this character. Ended up drawing her again because I gave her a bloody backstory.
After her magical girl best friend is murdered gruesomely in front of her by a nemesis, she discovers the thrill of bloodlust, of literally being covered in the blood of her foes. She attaches herself to a "just cause" she feels she can fight vehemently, cutting down anyone who dares to get in the way. Dies by stabbing herself with her own sword to prove a point.
Despite being called the Ruby Heiress, I intentionally designed the outer layers of her uniform (and skintone, and hair) to be pastel colors that would have a super stark contrast with delicious blood reds.
