it’s still incredibly frustrating to me that in the many loves of... one-off, gwen was shafted off to the side in favor of carlie who 1) wasn’t a fully developed love interest yet ( and didn’t have as much history with peter as some of his other love interests ) 2) was even less popular among fans than gwen

it’s even more frustrating when you consider how dumbed down gwen was just to show off how smart carlie was and how she was a natural detective while gwen was just an emotional crying scaredy cat.

like no, fuck you. gwen stacy might shed some tears over photos of murder victims, but she is not a fucking idiot and she is not a coward.
