They call it.. Red October.

I absolutely adore autumn. When the colours turn to browns, oranges, reds and gold. When the air is so crisp and fresh that the walk to work is pleasurable. When the leaves embellish the roads and the sound of crunchy steps takes you back to your childhood.

I found these beautiful photos of the lake district yesterday on the daily mail. Who wouldn’t want to be there. Totally breath taking.

All photographs are taken from their website (there’s also much more gorgeous imagery on there), and the article is a pretty good read too. =)

I explored printing with white on white paper which I then stitched or folded into different positions.Quite a calming process which also gives off a calming feel I think…

Illustrations that could be applied to a number of products. The repeat would be ideal for gift wrap or maybe even wallpaper. I also think the colour bird would look amazing on a cushion. My style needs work, I know this. However, I'm thankful to be out of the mental block I've been in the past few weeks. Any critisism and advice is welcome.
