getting family to help with your minimal move (over the holidays, 30 miles away) pros and cons

pros: cheaper. less stress because you don't have to deal with strangers.

cons: you have to be considerate of other people's time for the days they are helping you, so you can't do want you want when you want it.

i guess this won't be a issue in the future since I'll actually have more than 4 pieces of large furniture and I'll probably need movers or atleast to rent a van.

anyway, yeah, moving is annoying.

it wasn't covid or even a cold, I got over the tiredness by the weekend, but I did lay in bed doing nothing on my day off. and then I did the same thing a week later because of my period. I am bored of being tired!!

still haven't tested myself (been working at home all day) .. last time I could feel my body doing a lot all day the day before testing pos, this time I just feel tired. And no one else at work has posted they are sick (yet) ... soo yeah

there's something vindicting about people you used to find attractive making choices you vehemently oppose. like, THERE, that's why the universe said NO even though primaly there was an interest there. (not cuz I'm ugly or boring, it's your fault!!)

why do a disproportionate number of men compliment my fancy headbands? is it because it's shiny? is it because it's a non offensive safe thing to compliment? a true qunadry, it's the only thing that always gets compliments from people who otherwise do not compliment me.

not me thinking someone I worked with closely for the past year and a half is Mexican, while someone else think it's just his wife that's Mexican and he's Middle Eastern, while someone thought he's Indian (def not that) 🤦‍♀️ we tasked the new person to find out

my company holiday party is all but guaranteed to be a superspresder event in my mind. and here i am, still going. how the turns table 😔
