                    SHE WAS MOTIONLESS FOR A MOMENT, nothing but the turn of her head revealing any indication she had even taken notice of the voice in her head.  perhaps she should COMMENT, but the fact of the matter was that it was nothing new.  voices in her head.  what an every day thing.  still, perhaps it was a w e l c o m e d change that this voice belonged to a real and present person that she soon took note of standing before her.  it would take a moment for her muscles to register her desires, and cat stood, figuring she had l i t t l e to risk with this stranger offering help.

                   footstep were silent as she fled after, nothing but a few odd moans escaping her as any form of response.  her own head unable to even gather a reply.  only a SINGLE word taking hold of her thoughts.

                    RIGHT.  SHOULD THEY MANAGE TO ESCAPE this unsavoury predicament, Emma was quite certain Cat - or, rather, Sarah - would be her first self-assignment ; the poor girl’s mind was shattered, broken into by someone else, everything tossed this way and that to make room for a more tractable slave.  Despicable.  A bit occupied at present ensuring the guards did not notice the two briskly wandering down the poorly lit corridor, Emma nonetheless made the mental note to dig up the girl’s previous employer if she could.  He would receive all that he deserved as would all of the cretins manning this facility.  No one deserved what had been done to them, especially when they represented the pinnacle of evolution.  They were the best and the best did not deserve to be treated like a battered knock off of an old Louis Vuitton handbag.

                     Emma wanted to wheel around and make her stop but, frankly, it was the only thing that was causing her to act with any sense of urgency.  Instead, she drew back from the devastated mind, forming a protective barrier and relying on speech to convey her next message.  A tilt of the chin meant to draw the gaze to the guard just passing them in the hall now, rolling a tray of food and humming to himself.
