Something I wish Gundam stuck with was different variants of "Mobile Suit" in the titles to differentiate each timeline.

The original Universal Century timeline is "Mobile Suit: Gundam"

Then when they made G Gundam which is set in a different timeline it's full title is "Mobile Fighter: G Gundam."

They switched back to Mobile Suit for Gundam Wing.

But then Gundam X was "After War: Gundam X."

And then a really subtle detail I love, Turn A Gundam doesn't have a Mobile Suit title. It's just "Turn A Gundam." Signifying it doesn't belong to any one timeline.

But then with Seed we went back to "Mobile Suit: Gundam Seed." And I don't think they've messed around with it since. It's a shame because it's a fun little detail I really like from the 90s era or Gundam.

Gundam wing's official prefix (?) is "Shin Kidou Senki" which is "new mobile report"

The localizer got to it when they brought it to the states in the early 2000s
