Just a heads up that I’m gonna use this blog as an archive from now on!
I’ve just given Teddy a bit of a reboot, as I’m not really having too much fun playing her anymore. She’ll be set back a few years, back when she was fresh out of the army and when she first became a cop.
Some relationships/AUs are gonna need tweaking, but !!!!

Lucy’s arms wrap around Teddy in return, fingers curling into the fabric of her dress as she holds herself close to her, the comfort she hadn’t had to ask (explicitly) for, calming her.
She allows her eyes to close, face buried into Teddy’s shoulder, and doesn’t speak for a long while. When she does, it’s quietly.
"I dunno what I did wrong."
"Hey. Nothing, alright? Sometimes-- Sometimes people just do dumb shit when they're grieving, alright? Or just-- generally not in their right state of mind." Jesus, it's almost been a fucking year and she still feels like she has to apologize. But she reminds herself this is about Lucy and Lonnie. "He loves you, Lucy, he's just-- a dumbass."
