Hello I'm Sarah, this is my Monster High side blog, and here's everything you need to know about me

I was born on 17/03/04, that makes me a Pisces. My main is @devilishly-stupid so I always interact like that. I'm Guatemalan, I speak Spanish and English is my second language. I'm currently in college trying to become an engineer.

I've been a fan of the franchise from the beginning, but I have been collecting dolls since 2021. This blog began in June of that same year. Deuce is my favorite lil guy, obviously. My oldest dolls I got in 2012!

My 22nd birthday was last week! I'm glad to see I still get dolls on my birthday even as an adult

If you're wondering how boring my product development class is, I've been reading the monster high books (something I have procrastinated for a year) during the times I don't need to pay attention

I thought this was gonna be a whole semester ordeal but I just finished the last book of the series on Friday, and I have thoughts

First off, the last book felt very much like it got cut in half! None of the plot lines introduced this book got resolved in a satisfying manner! The book fast forwards the entire summer and just assures you the conflicts went away, what the hell!

I also feel like the introduction of an extra main character every book was a miss. By book 3 I was missing Cleo and in book 4 I was missing both her and Clawdeen.

Lagoona also got introduced as fundamental as the other girls in the group but never got her own chapters, maybe that's where the missing summer went.

Overall it felt like watching a silly Vampire Diaries type of show, I would've enjoyed it more but the ending really soured the experience as a whole

In order: Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy!!

There’s only a bio for Frankenstein right now:

“Frankenstein is ghoulish imagination brought to terrifying life! The creature walks in heeled boots, it embodies creepily chic style... what is it, human or monster? Whatever the case, it must be stopped before it wreaks havoc! Those who cannot stand spine-chilling excitement or shock should not hear this story... on the contrary, those who like an unusual thrill will find it in Frankenstein.”

They are expected to be released September 2026!

Oh lawd I- y’all know me! I usually give them the benefit of the doubt buuuuttt…I’ll say what I always say and that I’ll wait until we have clearer photos, whether stock or irl.

I think I like Frankenstein and The Mummy the most (not in order) but there will definitely be some tweaking!!

Claire’s hat has the constellations of the 12 astrological signs!

It looks like she has tarot card charms on her belt

Her skirt is definitely a tarot-inspired pattern but each card represents one of the girls! The heart is for Carina, the moon is obviously for Claire, the sun is for Rae, and the crystals for Layla

She is blind! Having a blind clairvoyant who can “see” is so cool, she also comes with a cane

Rae has some details in her candle, some witches will carve words or sigils into their candles for spells!

Rae’s hat also has sun rays on it!

Willows hat has the triple goddess symbol with the three moons! Also she is hard of hearing and uses a hearing aid (also I imagine her little pouch has seeds or food in it for her animal friends)

Willow’s pants have moths! I’m happy to see some moths considering this lines code name was project moth and moths are kinda a common symbol in modern witchcraft and whimsigoth/eclectic like aesthetics

CARINAAA!! She’s a love witch! I do wonder if cupid will make an appearance or if it is actually Carina. She has a heart shaped mirror which is a super common occurrence on love witches altars! Also she has a little charm on her belt and I’m curious to see what that means.

And Layla, not much to say about her but I think she has object heels which are crystals
