LOOK AT THIS LAZY CUTIE! Logged on here to check messages before returning to my other RP home. Figured Id share a pick of my new man that I bought from a friend. He's gonna be my RP version of Riku from Kingdom Hearts. Right now his chilling in the lid of my art box with his baby Aurore (who finally has a daddy and is not just a misc doll I picked up). This week I'm pet sitting and away from home so doll projects are on hold but I got some plans! I do miss this blog. I wish it was easier to be on two blogs on mobile!

I know darts are sometimes a necessary evil in terms of helping to shape the garment… but that doesn’t mean we can’t try to avoid them like the plague, lol.

Blergh. I’m off today, so once caffeine happens, I’m going to try to fix it. At least the pattern will work for both ios when I’m done.

I once did a FB rant on how I hate doll clothes darts I wish I saved it. But blarg. One pattern I have has waistline darts two front two back... those annoying kite shaped ones! And then bust darts, and... repeat the whole thing in a lining. But it's a stunning drop waist bodice that fits KDF perfectly....😤

I just did a very big girl adult thing and finally called the NYS tax office and made an appointment to settle my sales tax debt for my jewelry business. Anxiety at 100% but on Friday the filing is out of my hands and I just have to pay the debt on money I barely made.... I think my New Years resolution will be to only sell through websites that do sales tax for me like Etsy. This is a biiiiig win for me over mental illness...

Hello!! Sorry for not posting an update earlier. My busy holiday got a lot more… painful suddenly. Wednesday I woke up with severe abdominal pain. By the afternoon I was admitted to Emergant Care and then after three hospital transfers Thursday evening I was finally diagnosed with an inflamed appendix and brought in for surgery. But I’m home now! So yeah I’ve been quite out of it for a while and probably will be for some time. It took a lot of energy just to keep my friends/coworkers/ and family updated on FB. Tumblr just fell by the wayside. So I’m gonna wade slowly back into tumblr today!
