𝚋𝚎𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐. muse a finds a summoning ritual for muse b to make a small deal. can be a demon of lust to take their virginity, contract maker to give them wealth/fame, anything. after the transaction, muse b decides to extend their welcome and continue to stay with muse a. they like watching the other squirm and getting under their skin, but humans are also incredibly entertaining this close up.
𝚊 𝚐𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚊 𝚠𝚒𝚜𝚑. muse a is reminiscing of the one that got away or a great friend that they had. one day in the park they run into muse b, an exact replica of the person that they cannot get out of their mind. could be the same person that hasn’t aged, shapeshifter, or a doppelganger of sorts. now they’re doing everything in their power to build up the courage to approach muse b. even if it means stopping by the park three times a day. (can also be reversed where the human is the one that looks like someone from the monster’s past)
𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚜𝚊𝚟𝚎. muse a is attacked by a supernatural creature (or regular human) and muse b, another creature, finds them injured. they end up taking care of them. it requires soft touches to bandage and wrap them up, making sure they’re eating, and the works. soon enough the initial attacker comes back to finish the job. muse a sees muse b’s supernatural side for the first time when they’re protecting them. can it be? is the person that’s been helping them this whole time a monster?
𝚐𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚋𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜. muse a is in a group of hunters or myth busters. they’ve recently come into the town muse b, a supernatural creature, resides in. as fate would have it, muse a stumbles across muse b when they’re alone. do they go on the offensive? do they give the monster a chance? do they protect the creature from their group? only time will tell how these stories meld.
𝚋𝚘𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚕𝚢𝚍𝚎. apart muse a and b are already quite powerful and dangerous to the population. together? they’re practically unstoppable. they got together while hunting down the same target and ended up forming a frightening pair. news articles report on the new bonnie and clyde, yet the cops never seem to be closer to catching them. they’re living their best life while terrorizing the locals of each town they visit. they have a map of the world and they’re painting it red.
𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚕 𝚘𝚊𝚜𝚒𝚜. muse a and b are running from the same pack of hunters/other supernatural group. they’re hiding out in abandoned churches/houses, hunting with the darkness as their cover, and always looking behind their shoulders. still, they find a strange solace in one another. there’s a peace they can’t achieve alone, knowing someone is going to have their back in case the hunters come and they aren’t paying attention.
𝚒'𝚕𝚕 𝚠𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚛. for whatever reason, muse a and b always find themselves in constant competition. they were mundane up until the point that they found out they were both supernatural. now instead of who can score the most goals or make the most money, it’s who can capture the most prey or perform the most impressive magic. a long competition that’s never going to end can bond two monsters for eternity.
𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚘 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚞𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚝. muse a is from a pretty well known supernatural family/clan. on the opposite side of the field is muse b’s group, also well known and respected. both sides have been committing with each other for centuries. it’s gotten to the point that they don’t even know why they’re still at war with one another or fighting. muse a and b finally meet alone one night, barely recognizing each other, and hit it off. then the next morning they realize who the others is and have to decide. is family more important than their heart?
