On Lucifer changing Nick’s Clothes

Nick was wearing his PJs when Lucifer possessed him, but the next time we see Lucifer he’s in his standard green-flannel-on-green-shirt with jeans getup.

Which means of course, he changed his clothes.

Part of me thinks it’s really cool that Lucifer is the only angel we see change outfits for no reason other than ‘I want an update’ or ‘I’m not bringing about the apocalypse in Pyjamas’.

The greater part of me is upset that we were robbed of Lucifer bringing about the apocalypse in Nick’s PJs.

My theory about Mark Pellegrino destiny on season 14

Do you guys remember when Mark Pellegrino said to a group of fans who asked if Lucifer was truly dead, “I’m just gonna say ‘nephilim grace’”? Well, we all know the writers love Mark and that it would be pretty ridiculous of them to bring Lucifer back AGAIN, so… what if Lucifer is really dead and the nephilim grace brings Nick back to life?

the entirety of season 14 would’ve been averted if sam has let lucifer through the rift. like?? michael never would’ve known the spell, lucifer wouldn’t have been pissed & made that deal w/ him, jack never would’ve lost his grace & died so cas never would’ve made the deal & jack never would’ve lost his soul, nick wouldn’t have returned, chuck never would have come back, mary never would have died, nick never would’ve died— in the way he did?—, john wouldn’t have returned, etc, etc.

i mean? if lucifer has gone through the rift he probably wouldn’t have been as pissed as he was?? he loved jack, and he just wanted his son— because he was ANGRY he wanted jack’s power. the deal he made with michael was that he got JACK and michael got the rest of the world. i’m sure he felt like he didn’t want to fail jack like his father failed him. he wanted to escape with jack. if sam has just let him through the fucking rift, michael never would’ve invaded their world. lucifer wouldn’t have stolen jack’s grace & would’ve acted as jack’s father, jack never would’ve lost his soul, and a shit ton more.

lucifer deserved better. this is just one of the situations where someone else’s action or mistake turned him into the bad guy— just like locking away the darkness. chuck chose him to take on the mark, he was corrupted, and became ‘evil’, in the term of ‘evil’ actually existing at this point.

I have strong feelings about this.

1. They had the devil on their side! They could have used that! They could have had a fully powered archangel on their side!

2. Lucifer was their responsibility. They just left him in that world, like those people can deal with him now.

3. Lucifer literally just saved Sam's life. And technically all of theirs when he killed that angel patrol. Does that mean nothing?

4. He was weak. Injured. He wasn't this unstoppable force that had to be trapped behind the rift - they could have easily bound him up again on the other side. And dealt with him.

5. He was behaving for Jack's sake, what more could they want? They had the ultimate leverage, and he was playing ball and doing what they wanted. And they betrayed him.

I think he had a fair case to be mad. What the hell else was he supposed to do?

He's a villain of circumstance.
