      [ He hummed lightly to appear as if he were debating this offer.            Not shortly after, a chuckle was emitted from him. ]

                 ❝ Alright, alright. The cookies won me over.                                   We've got a deal, blondie. ❞

     [ He nudged her lightly, the playful smirk still plastered on his lips. ]

          [ A grin etched upon his lips,     as he folded his arms across his chest. ]

      [ His tone was playful, and he rather did enjoy teasing her. ]

[She didn’t expect him to hear her, but that didn’t stop her from talking.]

       [ His eyes shifted to the person that spoke. ]

             ❝Oh, come on! My nose is not weird!❞

        [ It was as if that was enough to knock his perceived threat level down to nothing, and a slender thumb pushed the mask back from her face. ]

    “—-then this kingdom needs new guards, the current ones are slipping.”

       “However you should not bring such poor skill to the forest, when the city is clearly your place.”

       [ The brunet was clearly not amused by her constant insults.       Just as she pushed the mask from her face, he paused, as he examined her facial features briefly, before he cleared his throat to speak. ]

     ❝They're not just slipping. I'm pretty clever if I do say so myself.❞

         [ Did she just -- ? ]

     ❝Is that meant to insult me, creepy lady?❞

[ Her head tilts to the side in confusion, considering no one was around. ]

          "But there’s—"

[ Her words are cut short, but there’s no way she’s letting him go just like that. She was lost and he seemed to be her only clue. ]

          "Woah, woah, woah. You’re not going anywhere.. Or I’ll scream and let them know you’re here."

[ A total bluff, but she hoped he wouldn’t realize it. ]

      [ His deep brown eyes narrow, as he takes a few steps closer to the girl. ]

             ❝Don't. you. DARE.❞

       [ She couldn't be serious. Could she? The man let out what was a mixture of a groan and a moan. He wasn't being let off so easily. It was clear. ]

           ❝..what do you want from me, huh? I don't have anything on me that may be of interest to you.❞

   [ The mask rotates slightly twisting to one side then the other, as though to inspect him and  m o c k  him at once. ]

            “—I assure you, it is intentional.”

   [ No move is made to shift the mask, a common face for her. ]

  “If you mean to evade some form of enemy, you do it poorly. They’ll have your neck in no time, if they wolves don’t rip it first.”

         [ The young man shakes his head almost frantically before he glances back up, a smug look written in his facial features. ]

       ❝I haven't gotten caught by those guards so far..❞

               [ He shrugs it off. ]

         ❝I'd say I'm doing a pretty well job at this, however to each their own.❞

       ❝Is it really that difficult?❞     [ In which the thief is beyond done with         these inaccurate wanted posters. ]

[ She sees him try to hide which almost makes her laugh. ]
