DEVILISHSOL Look what I found, a throwback New Year's Eve picture circa my freshman year, 2016. I had just shaved my head, just turned 17 a couple days prior, just switched my major to dance, and just took out a big ass student loan. It was a scary time with a lot of change but here I am now graduating. So congrats to all my fellow graduates and I hope every one of y'all students keeps pushing through these finals weeks.

And to those who may not have a mother figure in their life, who don't feel comfortable celebrating someone who doesn't deserve that title, who may not be able to become a mother, or who have lost children in one way or another. It's okay. You're not alone. I know this gets posted every Mother's Day but it can be hard not to feel lonely on such a joyous day. But it's important to remember that each of y'all are so strong and have grown in spite of it. Y'all will always be deserving of good motherly love or even deserving to give motherly love, even if you haven't had that experience.
