*sigh*

It's with my heart in my hands that I come to Tumblr asking for help. Long story short, I was financially taken advantage of (story of my life) by someone I had trusted. They took the money I had saved up for my flight to see my kid for her 10th birthday in December.

If you are unaware of my situation, my only source of income is SSDI, social security disability. It take a LONG while to save up for a round trip to visit my 'baby bear', but since I had to move to care for my parents I have done it without fail every year, save for the year I moved (her 6th birthday, but we FaceTimed).

I had a breakdown, went to a very dark place,and only just though to try to come back here and humbly ask the community for assistance. I've only ever done it once before, and have been forever grateful. This time, though, I sincerely don't expect anything, as we are all suffering. Still, I will share my CA if anyone would like to help a bit, as I have tried to help others. My goal is to hopefully recover the $300 taken, as that was almost half of the round-trip cost (you all are aware of flight costs rising 🙄).
