Are you no longer a fan of Jon Kent?

Sorry if my question bothers you. The thing is that Jon is a character I have really loved, unfortunately, they only use him as a secondary character, the white guy, the damn punching bag who depends on X or Y character. Honestly, I would like to know the opinion of someone who has talked about this.

I never wasn't a Jon Kent fan, yes, of course, I speak ill of him all the time but when it comes to truly loving Jon Kent, you also hate him as well but it's not really his fault, it's just how comics work. I haven't been looking at DC recently but from what I've seen they have really been trying their hardest to make his character actually matter again.
