Its very odd going to a Dr and saying "yeah they did this test and this was the result so they sent me here to see how to remedy it." And they just go

"well why did you do this test?"

"Oh, for this problem I have."

"okay...have you ever done this test?"

"no."

"okay. So you're gonna go do that test, but I'm gonna treat you for this for now since we have those results. But I'm also going to make you do that same test, but I'm going to run more in depth panels. This way we can rule out anything bad. If it's just this, we're good but, if we find anything else, then I'll need to treat differently."

"oh, okay. Thanks."

And just like..women who suffer from PCOS and other endo issues I've heard have to fight to be listened to, and I get one high T result and my Dr is like "alright bitch let's go".

I'm a small person. I wasn't expecting them to think it a possibility, let alone start tests for it. Because usually you only see larger women diagnosed because it's part of the listed criteria.

This is how womens healthcare should be. It literally costs the doctor nothing to just rule everything out via tests. Sure, it costs me money, but at the end of the day I'd rather know what is up than just hope I'm alright.

Mint is my fav flavor and smell. Not fake mint tho. My dad makes mint tea picked fresh and OMG it's the best thing ever. My comfort food is mint ice cream or tea.

I completely forgot what the other thing was in the span of a few seconds, so instead of that, I shall show you one of my favorite photos I've taken of my cats.

Savannah likes to go outside with me (she's indoor only but loves her supervised outdoor time) and walk the sidewalk while I garden. I took my camera out and caught her at golden hour. I pulled her from a pile of kittens in a barn 12 years ago. She is a very stupid cat lol but very pretty.

My best advice for people new to adulthood: keep emergency food around.

I don't mean like those prepper type people. I mean keep a granola bar in your purse or backpack. If you have a car, keep a jar of peanuts in there.

This is good for if you miss your bus, or forget your wallet somewhere, or get stuck in traffic. You never know when you are going to feel shaky, and it's better to have something quick and easy on hand, in case you need it.

Having emergency food around is your best friend. Trust me.

Also that food that is shelf stable for forever, just keep it. That box of Mac and cheese might be all you have to eat because the stores were close for some stupid holiday and you were at work the day before and weren't able to get groceries.

When I was younger my mom had tea spoons (long ones for mixing tea with a very small spoon end) and I would only use those to eat with. I've spent a long time looking for them but was never able to find them. Last year I was thrifting and came across and entire set of silverware that had 5+ of these spoons (they're in storage waiting for me to move in so I forgot how many) so I dug through the bins to get the entire set, which also to my surprise came with lots of olive forks so now I have extra long tea spoons and itty bitty baby forks and I love it.

Can't post this on my socials that my family follow cuz ew lol, so I thought I'd share here. I can finally wear a bra size from the store! I've dropped about 3 sizes by losing 18lbs and going to the gym to shred extra body fat. Never thought I'd see that day again. Been a few years since I haven't had to scramble Amazon for a bra that didn't cost $100 and was bigger than a DD.

The bras don't fit perfect, I'd say I'm a half size bigger than a DD, but they don't sell DDD in store unless you're over a 40band size, so I will take what I can get.

It feels so nice to be able to wear a t-shirt bra again and not just itchy lace all of the time.
