Some general practice and 'ref sheet' work. I'm gonna try to this with some of the other ocs as well.

Mariana is one of my main ocs. Main pronoun is she, but often frequents he and they the more she opens up and experiences. A half sanitized octoling stuck in the Hadelpelagic zone of the deep sea city. Having spent so much time in the black ink that it overpowered the once deep purple color she had. This color returned somewhat when doused in purple ink, but after few ink washes it returns to black. Having long since taken it on as a base color. Only having the mem cake related to the event that got her stuck down there.

She's loyal and protective, especially of Pacific. The inkling that reminded her of what hope is. And of Hadel, the fully sanitized octoling with a will so strong she is in a state of near constant confusion and dazed looks once they knock her around in the boss trial. She's a trained soldier, her body knew the movements when she didn't remember it herself. Aiding her well this far. While doesn't believe she'll ever get her memories back, what memories she may have had anyways. She is more thn happy to experience those firsts again with Pacific and Hadel.

Specter: “Hey whoa wait wait! I’m with ya now! Please don’t hurt yourself!”

[Specter hops on Serket’s shoulders and holds onto their head. Serket, still worried, begins rapidly signing.]

Specter: “Hup! See! I’m all good!”

Serket <Little Specter, you scared the void out of me! I think I shall take you to mother. I don’t trust that you’re completely ok after that.>

Specter: “Oh geez, I got you started huh? Well I’ll tell you AND her about it then.”

Yep! I’ve just been going through some pretty intense dental work that hasn’t left me a lot of energy to draw. Once my jaw is fully fixed and healed I’ll get back to updating. I have some plans for the mysterious orange vessel ;)

Serket: Void creatures can have a bit of a habit of staring. It may come off as rude but it is just how we get a read on things.

Serket: With all the siblings who have escaped over the years, and especially after the gates to The Abyss were opened post Radiance defeat, short staring contests like these are common.
