DEAD DOVE. DO NOT FOLLOW FIRST. this is a private / selective roleplay blog for 𝚮𝚨𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐁𝚨𝐋 𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑. [ . . . ] inspiration for this muse is taken from a vast majority of existing medias as well as headcanon and the source. any work that is not mine, i will credit appropriately.
this character is a serial killer and a cannibal. if these themes are too dark for you to handle, then please do not follow me. this portrayal takes aspects of the books, show and movies. if you have criticisms for my portrayal you do not have to engage with me.
𝐈. understand that i have a life which sometimes leaves me away from tumblr for weeks. so very often i am on hiatus without mention, and i will not apologize for it. if this isn't something you can handle, then do not follow me. i mean it. i will go 8 months not answering your thread and pick it up like no time passed. if that isn't something you can handle, then do not follow me. i will not entertain guilt-tripping behavior.
𝐈𝐈. i don't always do follow for follow. if you're mutuals with one of my close friends then there is a much higher possibility.
𝐈𝐈𝐈. i do not practice exclusivity with people i hardly know. i am much more open to mains. however, i do not collect muses. if i am writing with a certain character already, i will not seek out other writers of this character.
𝐈𝐕. i love writing pre-established dynamics, often if someone sends in a ask before we have written, i will make my muse speak as if they know each other and we can fill the details in later. i will always ask if something is okay if i feel like it might be over stepping. i am okay with first meetings as well. i love writing shippy things, however i do not ship easily if we are not friends. i would like to actually have a friendship with the person i am shipping my muse with, that being said, i am perfectly okay with unrequited dynamics. on a side note, i do not do pre-established family dynamics unless we have plotted intensely.
𝐕. everything that i create here is mine unless i state otherwise. i understand being inspired by other writers, but i would appreciate it if you did not steal or copy anything from me.
𝐕𝐈. do not interact with me if you use AI in anyway to roleplay. i will block you.
𝐕𝐈𝐈. listen, if you follow me first and i follow back and you make absolutely no effort in trying to communicate with me and i find out you soft block me. i will hard block at this point to avoid accidentally following you again, because at this point you have shown me you have no interest and no desire to write with me, and i will give you the same energy back. so please do not attempt to follow me again or connect with me again on any of your other blogs either. like i mention before, i do not always do follow for follow, so if i follow you i have an interest in writing with you, however if you have read my rules you will know that work keeps me away from tumblr most of the time, so if you do not follow me with the intention of reaching out to me, then do not follow me at all. they'll be no hard feelings, but if you soft block after i follow you, then i will close further communications with you. i have no space for impatience, lack of communication or just bad energy.

❛ i heard rumors of this phantom regime a while back, but i suspected it had been a ploy to distract the germans. ❜ hannibal had always been very observant of his surroundings, and made a rule to stay clear of spies. he did not want to be a object of their observations, even if he knew he had no reason to be suspected from a spy that was working to help liberate africa from germany and italy. but that didn’t mean he was not observing them when they weren’t aware, still, he had little use for the bits of information that they left behind like bread crumbs, ❛ if this regime is meant to be a ghost, how will you be rewarded for your efforts behind enemy lines? ❜ hannibal raised his head slightly, and canted it, ❛ i suppose that they can still reward you for your effort, but according to the world you will be nothing but a myth… perhaps when you die and the world has moved on, they will speak of this phantom regiment, but they will never know your name. ❜ @sasrogue (david stirling)

❛ are you still writing poetry? ❜ hannibal adjusted in his seat, crossing one leg over the other and giving his entire focus to paddy, ❛ you never had a issue with killing before, isn’t that right? does it keep you awake now? ❜ hannibal had heard in minor details of the men who had been left to drown before the invasion of italy. few of the sas members had mentioned it in their sessions with him. however, paddy mayne did not enjoy his brain on display for someone like hannibal to poke and prod at like a specimen. instead, hannibal approached it like a maze. paddy's responses would give him access to the core of his struggles, be it these dying men or the death of his close companion. it should have been hannibal's mission to aid paddy in his methods of grieving, but hannibal was obsessed with the growing rage embedding itself into paddy. his heart was becoming akin to stone. ❛ there are rumors that your superiors keep placing you on the frontline and forcing you into suicide missions because they want to get rid of a problem, that problem being you. ❜

❛ you have killed again. ❜ hannibal allowed the young man to enter his home. after all he had told him if he should ever need refuge again, then he would allow his home to be just that. he recognized they way cook’s eyes mirrored the boy enraged at the tragedy of his friends demise. however, the fear of what he had done chipped away. ❛ but you have again lost someone in order to have killed. ❜ hannibal clicked his tongue and shut the door, locking it. ❛ is it absolution you seek now? or do you realize that the world that you live in cannot afford the niceties you have offered it? ❜ hannibal knew now the boy who had murdered for his friend had been replaced with a new kind of creature. ❛ what will it be this time? will you run away again? ❜ @griefhaunt

❛ i find that when we are cornered we are likely to become more like the predator than the prey. ❜ the silence had been allowed to live for too long. he noticed how his own voice disturbed the lack of sound with such abruptness that it almost felt rude, ❛ were you caught in a reverie just now? reliving your fight with the bear? ❜ hannibal canted his head. he was genuinely curious of patrick, more than he had been before. ❛ this trip has done you good, i can see that you are no longer lost and longing behind your eyes. ❜ when the time did come, hannibal knew that patrick would slaughter the man as he did the bear—drink his fill and claim his soul. @icereborn

❛ we have spoken before of your father and how you grew up, but i want to speak to you about the method in which you choose your fingers. ❜ hannibal had not shed the skin of the psychiatrist yet. he had always been curious about the minds of others who saw the world as he did. he had been searching for someone to call his equal, and for a moment he did wonder if jimmy crystal could ascend past this charade into who he truly was. ❛ as i recall you used to attend church? had you always been aware that you were son of the devil? ❜ hannibal did not want to tear jimmy’s perception from him, but he would need to undo it if they were ever able to become one and the same. he would strip him of the deity that confined him to worship. @howzaat

❛ you plan to stay confined to this compound until judgement then? ❜ hannibal held a copy of the book of joseph in his lap. he had just finished reading it. there were details of joseph’s life that he displayed for his followers to aid in convincing them. it seemed to be an autobiography leading up to this moment. it was written with so much fervor, but there was something vulnerable about it. hannibal could see how so many people congregated around joseph. they had a desire to protect him and the book made them feel closer to him. ❛ what will you do if the deputy’s wrath reaches you? they seem hellbent on destroying everything that you worked so hard to build. ❜ hannibal clicked his tongue, his mind musing on the efficiency of destruction and how quickly things could be destroyed. he truly did wonder if joseph would absolve them of guilt and convince them to put down their arms one last time. @nowfather

❛ you make delicious pies, ned. ❜ hannibal is impressed by how ned manages to mirror his life outside of this town. the pies are more than just edible, they have a baker’s touch that cannot be easily emulated, but they are not suited to hannibal’s particular palate. that information hannibal does not allow to slip free. nothing made in this town would ever be enough to satisfy him, ❛ is it safe for me to assume that aside from the creatures at night, you feel quite at home here with a place to put your talents to work. ❜ unlike hannibal. @piesmake

❛ do you plan to warn these people of me, will? ❜ the was unspoken threat in his tone that he knew will would find, hold and analyze until he picked every piece apart. these people were nothing but prey to him. few of them sparked an idle curiosity inside of him, but it was a meager light. there were those who wanted to survive, and then there were those who needed others to guide them. they complained of food, but their desperation had not met the peak. they still lived in luxuries, expecting all they were afforded to be provided by those they hailed as their leaders. ❛ these people do not deserve you as their protector—they are faced with a difficult dilemma with no way out, but the majority of them do nothing to change this, instead they wait for change to happen so that they can react to it. ❜ hannibal knew that will would not choose these people over him. he knew it because of the way will looked at them. in time, these people would be useful, but only for self preservation. @eidetix
just so we're clear, h.annibal won't be eating your muse, he might fantasize about it, but like ibr, anyone he talks to he is going to have a genuine intrigue as to why he won't treat them like their inferior to him. he's not above becoming obsessed with someone. it doesn't even have to be someone who necessarily matches his intellect.
