What Intelligent Talent Matching Means For Job-Hunters
Who HASN’T ever performed a keyword search as part of their hunt for a job? I think we all know the drill.
We search by job title. We search by a particular skill. We search by company or industry.
We look for that sweet spot between a search that is so broad that only half of the results seem to be relevant, and a search that is so specific that the only thing the job board has for us is, “Your search yielded no results.”
DevPlateau doesn’t use keywords. We don’t use your standard recommendation algorithms. DevPlateau’s creators are using an algorithm to use - not just your job title, and not just your skills - but all the information you choose to give us. You’ll be able to upload a resume, fill out questionnaires, link to professional sites like GitHub or LinkedIn, and more. All the information that you provide is used to create a unique candidate “model.”
Think of a keyword search as a stick figure. Without a body.
Think of your DevPlateau candidate model as the wooden mannequin that artists use to draw the human form in varying poses.
Once your model has been created, DevPlateau can compare it to the ideal models generated for open positions and tell you how closely you match.
DevPlateau plans to release its official Web and Mobile App for candidates in Summer 2019. The job-hunting industry is changing.
