So many people are asking me why I am not pursuing floristry atm and! I LOVE flowers I love that life but I LOVE the op shop life. I thrive in a thrift store. I never get sick of it. I go into other op shops like every day I have off, I literally relish in the thrill of hunting and finding fun things like it...fuels me!!! I love it!! I live love laugh second hand things. I am passionate about re-using and buying second hand stuff! I love her! OKay!

Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living
So tempting to keep embarking on the same self destructive cycle over & over & over again . But at some point you have to put ur foot down w ur own behaviors & be the thing that truly saves u

I'm having the day off bc we are understaffed which is....great for me! I am having an intense period (first one in months hate it) and I'm listening to a playlist someone lovely made me for endo flare ups - and it's been a year since I had my endo surgery, wild. I am exhausted from spending hours the other night crying (PMS, existential crisis mood) and then a really busy day at work yesterday so I am trying to replenish myself. My current toast fixation is davidson plum jam and peanut butter and I keep drinking hot cacao, sometimes with honey, sometimes not. I am eating the last of my cacao choc chip brown sugar muffins, feeling the cold breeze, my son keeps trying to eat all of my plants. Idk if I should do an op shop dash before they close.... idk!!!!!
Off work sick this week - my boss's husband is due for heart surgery so I'm keeping my germs away from him (it's just a cold). Watching twilight autumn foamy rough seas and drinking hot cacao with honey and salt wrapped in a scarf. Making soup. Cleaning mildew and scale off my monstera. I've been so swept up in constant preoccupation and haven't stopped for months so this is my crash. I need the rest but it's so hard for me to sit still and then I spend too much time on my phone. I want to delete social media but I am scared of disappearing, probably need to unpack that one.
