I really need some help:

A few years ago, I met this girl. Her name is Jaycie Rae. We were both in bad places and stopped talking. I tried to reconnect and couldn’t find her. I gave up after over a year of searching. I figured it was life’s way of telling me to move on.

Dexter sat down the tool he had in his hand and stepped out of the shadows into Corinna's line of sight. "Its a shame you don't remember our last encounter... it was a very pleasant one." He stepped the side of the bed placing one leather clad knee on the side pulling himself up. His fingers brushed against her skin, as he lifted her legs and placed himself between them.

Fae’s eyes twinkled as she took in the sight of his magnificent bed. Her eyes caught on the rope tied to the bed posts and her grinned widened, “Looks like you are indeed prepared.” She turned and walked backwards towards the bed watching him, “Now that you have me here what are you planning to do?”

She worked on the hooks of corset as she slowly moved across the room. Her eyes never left his face and her smirk held a challenge for him to take what he wanted from her. As the back of her knees hit his bed she reached the last hook of her top and let it fall to the ground.She stood against his bed wearing only a skirt, thigh highs, and her leather boots.

Dexter's eyes turned pitch black as a wicked grin danced across his lips. She had challenged him and invited him to play, and it was his turn. Within seconds he was in front of her his arm wrapped around her waist pulling her close as his lips hovered dangerously close to hers. 

"Lets play..." His silky smooth voice flowed from his lips just seconds before he captured hers for a hungry kiss, his tongue leaving no territory unexplored. His hand trailed down her back playing with the top of her skirt before he gripped it tightly and tore it from her body.

Dexter’s grin broadened, and Corinna had to wonder if it was even possible for him to smile and not have it look sinister. Probably not, she decided; with the resemblance his face bore to that of a skull, she imagined even the most innocent of expressions would come off that way. 

Trust me, he said as he led her toward the tent. It will be fun… And she could only hope he didn’t just mean for him.

The interior was as dark as the black drapings outside would suggest, shadows upon shadows. The only thing she could make out even a little was a chair nearby, unoccupied and unremarkable as far as she could see. Have a seat, Dexter said, and didn’t pull her any further, but let go of her arm and left her to it. 

"All right…" she murmured, stepping away from him and sinking into the chair. She looked back at him, squinting through the dark, wondering just what was supposed to happen next.

Dexter watched her with keen eyes as she made her way to the chair. Her movements were timid and soft as she sat down unfamiliar with the dark interior of his tent. He enjoyed the darkness and knew instinctively where everything was so he wouldn't have to light a candle to see around.

He slipped into the shadows, letting only his footsteps be clues to her as he moved. "Tell me Corinna, what do you remember of our last visit? If you even remember we met." His voice was silky smooth with a sinister lilt.

Metal could be heard clinking as he moved around the tables in the shadows, picking up instruments and setting them back down after testing them.

Relief flooded Corinna when Dex released her, and she took a couple hasty steps backward to a spot that she hoped was out of his reach. 

"Well," she said, "I don’t know how long I’ve been here exactly, but it’s definitely long enough to know you locals can be bad news—and get a little nervous at the sight of you. Can you blame me?”

He watched her, and smiled, and offered to show her his tent—the black-draped one standing not so far away. Somewhere at the back of her mind a little warning-bell sounded: she’d seen the interiors of various carnies’ tents before, must have, since she remembered invitations in… but never seemed to remember anything after accepting. 

And she knew by now what that lack of memory meant, too. 

But then again… If something bad happens, she reasoned, I won’t remember it later. Is that so bad?

"Ah… sure," she responded. "Lead the way."

Dexter grinned from ear to ear as he reached forward and grabbed her arm pulling her towards the large black tent just down the way. "Trust me it will be fun...." His chuckled and pushed the flap aside on his tent showing a dark interior with a single chair in the center.

"Come have a seat..." He motioned towards the chair in the middle of the tent. He had plans for her, and if she behaved it might turn out in her favor.

Fae followed the handsome demon into the house, “Fuck, this place is beautiful. Who’d you have to kill to get it?” She ran her hands over his chest. “The place doesn’t look as amazing as you though. Wanna show me the bedroom?” she asked playfully as her hands slid up his chest.

"I didn't kill anyone, I built in through the centuries of my life." He watched her trail her hands down his chest with a smile dancing at the corner of his lips. She was eager to see the rest of him, and he was eager to be fed. "This way..." He grabbed her hand and led her up a flight of stairs. Once he reached the top he took her down a long beautiful hallway to the door at the end. There he paused and smiled. "Here we are."

He opened the door to show a large bed complete with rope around the bed posts in case he wanted to get kinky. The bed had a beautiful deep purple bed spread with a black canopy.

Somehow, his insistence that he’d missed her wasn’t at all reassuring. It was the exact opposite, in fact: Corinna didn’t remember much of their other encounter, but wouldn’t have called any of it something that either would be likely to miss. Maybe, then, he was referring to something after, in that blank space in her head where a memory of the event should have been.

"I… I was just…" Words failed her. What could she say, when Dex was right? Though the Devil’s Carnival seemed vast, Corinna was trapped in it for all eternity; even if she hid, Dex had literally all the time in the world to find her.

And he would. He had.

"Ah… reflex," she tried, giving a quick shrug. "You startled me."

Dexter rolled his eyes and released her from his grip. She should be smart enough not to run, but if she did, it would be a fun game of catch the sinner. His muscles rolled under his inked skin as he moved his arm back to his side. 

"I startled you? I was just standing there, it is right outside my tent after all." Of course she wouldn't remember it but still he said it anyway. "Which reminds me, would you like to see it?" A smile danced across his lips as he watched her behind blackened eyes.

Fae laughed, “Oh are you all hot and bothered big boy?” Her voice was nearly a purr when she spoke but she added a little more speed to her walk. She needed to talk almost twice as many steps to make up for their difference in height. She glanced up at the house and almost quit walking to admire the beauty.

Dexter snickered and continued walking for his front door, getting out his keys as he went. "You can admire the beauty later, get your little ass up here." His words were playful as he spoke. Once he had the front door unlocked he opened it up to a equally beautiful interior. He waited for her to catch up and enter the house.

She had maybe half a minute to sigh in relief, to think she’d gotten away. And then a hand clamped down on her shoulder and dragged her back out of the shadows of her hiding-place. Corinna let out a short, terribly undignified yelp as her feet nearly went out from under her. 

And then she was face-to-face with one of  the more dangerous occupants of this open-air madhouse, and he was grinning that death’s-head grin and rumbling out a greeting. 

"Good to see you too," she replied, not quite sure herself whether she was lying. "Been a while, hasn’t it?"

Dexter's sinister smile stretched across his inked lips. Her little yelp had sent a wave of pleasure through his body, he loved making the sinners scared. His grip tightened on her shoulder as he pulled her close, his face now hovering inches from hers.

"It has and oh how I've missed you so." His voice was ominous as he spoke, she had been quite the screamer both times they met. "What are you doing trying to dodge me? Didn't you know you can never hide... no here." He pulled away from her face and laughed.
