🗻Several things about this. 1. Most awesome and worst experience of my life thus far. 2. Never had I felt like I was going to die right then and there. The only thing that kept me going was that my sister was accomplishing this with me. 3. I will never not be prepared for a hike. EVER. 4. It's not a race. Altitude sickness is real. 5. Even though I just couldn't get to the actual summit anymore due to the cold and needed to get back to family, the summit that I saw accomplished was the generosity of complete strangers towards someone. In this case my sister and I. Two Japanese men realized I didn't have anymore layers and one of them lent me an additional hiking suit he had as a spare. [the one wearing in the pic. 👆🏽] it fit me like a glove and I don't know how I could ever thank him, but pay it forward from now. Mt.
