One thing Kunikida hates about his apartment is the random power outage. The apartment is decent, not small, not too big, just perfect, enough to keep a man in there. The area is nice, it's not too far from the station, it's all decent. But he did not know about the frequent power outage before shifting. It was absolute hell. It was probably because the power supply was connected to one of the office buildings nearby. It often causes low voltage or complete outage. Well, that was one of the reasons that made this decent apartment was affordable.
Sure it was doable in winter but summer? Absolute hell. He hated coming home from a long day at work and not even being able to relax. It was around 7 PM, he had to stay late to finish a report. He was thinking about relaxing and eating dinner while watching some news before finishing up some work in his home office. But when he tried to turn on the A.C. it didn't turn on, why would it? There was no power. The somewhat hope he had to make the rest of his day somewhat better was flowing like the melted ice in the fridge.
He immediately opened the apartment group chat, and it had a sloppy notice from the owner that the transformer has once again overheated and needed some repairing.. great!
What can he do other than take off his clothes and sit by the balcony and drink the tepid beer while mourning what his day could've ended as if the power didn't go out randomly.
