When Kunikida “broke into the weather station” because they got the weather report wrong did he like go in there busting doors down with his shoulders to correct their mistake or did he somehow manage to just walk in there going “excuse me pardon me I need to speak with someone it would seem you’ve made an error” and he got really far before someone realized he wasn’t supposed to be there and tackled him to the ground

HIYA!! I'm really curious about your views on Kunikida being the one to transfer to the Mafia. A lot of people say there's a very low chance of that but I always like listening to the opinions of fans of our favorite bespectacled detective : D Also I owe you so much for drawing Kunikida with stubble thank you🙏💗

I honestly think that Kunikida being the one to transfer to the Mafia would be a fascinating direction for the story to go in, even though it's unlikely that the transfer would be him.

I think there are some reasons that requesting Kunikida to transfer would be overall beneficial to the Mafia: he's obviously very physically strong and pretty skilled in combat. His special ability is also pretty useful and has a plethora of possible uses, and of course he's next in line to be the ADA president so transferring him away would be a huge blow to the ADA as an organization. They really need that guy.

In practice though it kinda sounds like an "unstoppable force meets an immovable object" scenario lmao, because Kunikida is so incredibly stubborn about his loyalties and his ideals and we have yet to see him actually give them up, despite the many times he's been tested by the other characters. I mean, the closest he ever came to wavering on his ideals was the whole Hunting Dogs situation, and even then he stuck to them. Kunikida himself is just really stubborn no matter what and I think it would be difficult to force him to cooperate with the transfer just on principle. I think the only way that Kunikida could benefit Mori and the Port Mafia would be if the Mafia somehow offered him a route to continue pursuing his ideals without rules or regulations of the law stopping him. But if Kunikida's number one ideal is to "do what he thinks is right" I find it hard to believe he'd be a very cooperative mafia member. It would take a lot of effort to make him cooperative, and I honestly wonder if it's worth Mori's and the Mafia's time and effort to try and convince him. It would be really interesting to see that play out.

the concept of kunikida's ideals being entirely self made will never not be funny to me. like okay 'rule-following' my ass. this man canonically hates authority and sure he's organized but he also technically does whatever he wants whenever he wants like 80% of the time because he himself came up with his ideals.
